As always after the weekly reset blizzard did spaghetti in the code and now the game is kicking me out every 5 minutes after I log in. The game in this state is unplayable for me. I tried flushing DNS, restarting the notebook, changed a whole lot of settings, still, it kicks me out few minutes after I get on my character.
I want a REAL solution to this problem, not blabber about that my connection is bad, I need to change my provider and all that useless stuff…
This is a 100% world of warcraft problem because everything in the background as youtube, discord, even battlenet is running just fine without any issues, also I can reconnect instantly as if nothing happened.

I subscribe to the above poster! Exactly the same issue. I tried the same solutions with no success.

I bought and subscribed to WOW Shadowlands just a mere hours ago and I have the same issue. I have no problems with latency on other games and my internet is pretty fast and stable too.
I also tried to find a solution to this problem but I wasn’t able to find any.

there are two bugs thats been around for years now that blizzard seems unable to fix.
The first is the annoying bug that makes you disconnect at random when you hit the ground after jumping from a high distance, or using gliders etc. This is especially annoying during Brawl: Gravity Laps, which is now.
The 2nd is the bug that occurs after you just disconnected and tries to log back in. the continuing DC loop that kicks you out again 30 sec after logging in after a DC. Only thing ive found that stops the DC loop is to log an alt for a couple of mins before logging back in on your other chars.
When are we gonna get a fix, was like this throughout BFA, and it keeps on going during Shadowlands…
Well, I did some digging and I tried to ping one location my signals goes through, and whenever I got disconnected the IP timed-out at the same time for a few seconds, so I was getting disconnected because my response to the server was stopped for a few seconds, that’s why I could relog back immediately.
I solved it for now with VPN, my connection goes through different IPs so it doesn’t kick me out because the connection through all channels is stable.
I don’t know if it was caused by blizzard server maintenance on Wednesday, thus my route to the server changed after servers were put back up or It is just a coincidence and the route was the same as always but something went wrong on Wednesday with the provider my connection goes through.
I just want to mention that Blizzard technical support on this site did not help me, customer support on the battle net did not help me, or even blizzard support EU on Twitter did not help me at all.
I had to figure out all this myself after 24 hours of issues and disconnects, at least I know this is now. I have better chances fixing any problem with WoW with all but myself, google and maybe few friends, than Blizzard customer service.
If you are asking why I don’t cut them some slack, it is because I am paying 13€ a month to play this game, so even these few hours I lost progressing a character are far more precious than if the game was free.
You have a lot to work on blizzard.

So you actually have to use a VPN to get around this problem? I have the exact same issue for months now and Blizzard support has not been any help so far. The only things they come up with is a complete new installation of my computer or not using a wifi connection. Everything else on my computer works perfectly fine, every game, every application. But Blizzard completely refuses that the fault is on their side.
From the point I started to use VPN to connect to the blizzard server I was not disconnected once.
A good free VPN is Proton VPN, whenever you register with a new E-mail you get 7 days for free and the connection is only slightly worse.
