Due to an oversight at the beginning of The War Within, Eternal Flame actively nerfs the the baseline Word of Glory ability. This spell is designed to be a healing upgrade and originally was, however the baseline spell was buffed in a patch without also adjusting Eternal Flame, resulting in the only Hero Talent in the game which actively guts an ability.
This is still the case even if you add the HoT portion of the spell with the up-front healing, it’s still a huge nerf.
Most people have not noticed this due to Herald being generally unviable, but since the spec has gotten some attention lately, it would be nice to get this sorted out. Would people please start spam reporting this issue?
