I am a fan of WoW, but this item is absulute garbage. Pay double for the expansion for a few extra goodies and this thing is useless. Shares the same CD for the normal hearthstone and all it does is give you one extra bag slot by discarding your normal hearthstone.

I can see the boost, mount, pet and transmog make this trade off worth it but really, couldnt have put that hearth on a lower cooldown? Some flashy art when you hearth which NO ONE sees. XD
Urgh whatever, learned my lesson. Got a mount and pet yay me.
That hearthstone is designed as a cosmetic thing, similar to the mount and armour etc. providing a ājust cosmeticā extra cost to weasel money from you.
For the record other hearthstones exist with the same function, most of them are from the world events like Brewfest currently has one for 200 Brewfest coins, Lunar Festival has one, etc. etc. so it isnāt just a thing they added with this. (Spring one is best due to bunnies hopping around you)
Though if people are mistaking it for a second functioning Hearthstone like you did initially, then that could be an issue as if people buy it for that then they could be annoyed to find it doesnāt work as they thought it would. So it would help to clarify that on the purchase.
There is also the tw tcg one dark portal and ethereal portal hearthstone which on use change the strange hs summoning to that of dark portal statue and ethereal portal oneas a tcg fashionista they need to be mentioned even though it is not what is best in tcg stuff imho, darn it i lost again another duel link card game, another redbull and another go ai it !
You SHOULD, in fact, remove hs from bags if you have any of the hs toys as that makes the āUnstuckā cast from the help section actually kill you and therefore save a walk to the beginning of an instance, instead of using your hs if you have it in your bags. Just a tip to collectors.
The shop says effect for your hearthstone not a new hearthstone with a special effect. Itās not misleading. You got what you paid for.
Epic Edition
Includes everything in the Heroic Edition, plus 30 days of game time, the Anima Wyrmling pet,
an otherworldly Eternal Travelerās effect for your Hearthstone,
and Illusion: Wraithchill, a cosmetic effect for your weapon. As with other Illusions, Wraithchill cannot be applied to certain weapon types.
I havenāt had a normal hearthstone on my main since cata. Always used the inn keepers daughter. Then it got turned into a toy. Basically itās the standard hearthstone as a toy.
Buddy, apply a little common sense here.
Do you really think youād pay money for a second hearthstone? Itās obviously a cosmetic effect. As others have pointed out, it even says so before you pay for it.
So you bought it, knowing what you were going to get, and are still complaining? Next time donāt buy the CE pack?
Plus it isnāt useless, it replaces your old hearthstone with a good animation. You got exactly what you paid for, and more, considering you get a boost etc with it too.
It looks awesome. Basically all of the additional rewards are just cosmetic bonuses, otherwise thereād be a huge uproar if paying extra money gave you gameplay advantages. They did the right thing by making it share the same CD as your hearthstone.
And yes, I bought the Epic upgrade.
