Anyone else notice how weak the Eternals are compared to titans
Argus and Sargeras where a lot harder and we needed the other titans to help.
But we straight up whooped Sire Denathrius and the Kyrian babe got a pointy end in her rack by Arthas v2.0
So what on earth did Blizz mean when he said Eternals were similar in powerscales to the Titans??
All the eternals are heavily weakened due to the anima drought, though. They cannot sap the life force of the living, it all goes to the maw. Meanwhile, there’s nobody stopping the titans from feasting on all the energy they need to be powerful.
But then what about Sire Deno… He seemed to have a big store of anima
When he says “I AM REVENDRETH”, I think he means it literally - Revendreth is his creation, as well as everything in it, including the venthyr, the stoneborn, the nathrezim, etc. So it’s not just about having a large storage of anima, which he’ll send to the maw anyway, it’s not for him. Their power comes from the strength of the covenant - just like with the players. The stronger the covenant is, the stronger we and the Eternals are. It takes quite some power to create The Shadowlands.

So the winter queen we wanted something that stood above the night fae and felt somewhat different than they were. And of course, she’s similar to other creatures like her that we’ve had in the past. You know, she’s not a Titan, but she’s something kind of right below that. She’s an ultra-powerful creature here and part of this pantheon in a similar way that the Titan Watchers and Keepers we’ve seen in the past were part of the pantheon of law and order. These are the pantheon of death. So, that was sort of a starting point is that she’s a creature above and beyond the night fae themselves. She’s part of a greater order.

Power levels in WoW do not matter much anyway. You can say that they are weak because of the drought. Supposedly titans are weak to fel, and so on. There are many ways to get around power level stuff, so, it does not matter much.
The devs are not consistent, so, if you want to avoid frustration, just do not get too invested in that stuff.
