I did read your whole post of course, I just happen to disagree with the premise. I don’t think it would achieve better income results overall and I might just think that’s the only reason Blizz won’t do it. They are riding the psychology of gamers to try and make the most money possible. And in my humble opinion they happen to find the worst long-term ways possible. ( If short term profit is the goal then it works just fine I guess.)

You make gold or have made gold selling boosts to people. Many hate this within wow and want to see it banned. Personally I’m not against it, but it seems that it’s fine for you if it’s you ‘exploiting’ the playerbase, but if it’s Blizzard offering a extra in game that can be purchased with gold via converting it to balance (or IRL), then it’s wrong.

It just comes across as a major double standard.

I don’t have a problem with the optional extras in the blizzard shop OR people selling boosts in the game. Nobody has to use either option.

When he summons his toy I can use it, and vice versa (whole group could use it tho). But the CD restriction is one hour (for morph), I thought it would lift off after 20 mins but seems it has longer CD.

We managed to both use it today. My friend was just not understanding what was asking him to do in the raid. Thank you for the reply :slight_smile:

buying a game, paying active subscription and then not liking micro-transactions for cosmetics and what not because blizzard is greedy, is same as offering in game service for in game gold but hey, it’s alright! pats Im sure Im the only one who cant find the similarity between those 2.

It’s understandable to be honest, but we collect hundreds of toys which transform us. My friend uses his transformation toys every wipe/instance/try and always find his toys on CD, lolz :smiley:

I dont think one toy would make a difference, and maybe its wrong to say “I paid for it, so I should use it as many times as i want” but well, even nightmare mount special toy has 3 min cd :slight_smile:

Because you are happy when it’s you making gold from others but not if Blizzard allows people to buy store items with gold.

I don’t mind buying toys or mounts in shop if someone finds it cool then buy it :slight_smile: I just don’t want to make real money toys way better than common toys just because someone paid real money for them (tbh we are paying real money monthly for content including other toys) :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s a common thing to boost up prize pools in video games by addin some stuff, it works in DotA, CS:GO, OW somewhere else I believe, I’m not against it, it’s really cool to support esports :slight_smile:

360 000+ gold for one toy, are you on drugs? the toy costs 10 euro, wich is one WoW token = 160 000 g.

I very much would like you know how you managed to reach the 360 000+ gold spent on this toy

So if they are funding you it’s fine but not if it’s to Blizzard. I see. Paying a sub then paying boosters isn’t any different than paying additional gold to buy something.

Well, some toys are really op from that point of view, Vial of goo or Night elf ghost locket. I agree that Ethereal Morph has alotta different outcomes, but it doesnt change the fact you can be a leper gnome like forever if you have vial of goo.
In my case I often even forget about toy stuff because as a tank… Mostly I think about survival :smiley:

each toy costs 10 euros
each token is worth 13 euro bnet balance
so you need 2 tokens to buy those toys
and token price is 172 124.
2x172124 = 344248

360k was approximate price, its 344248.

I like sympathethic people like you, not here to flame :smiley: I also know that toys have no impact on utility (except being visible to an opponent in PvP) but it’s like with the mounts, they can’t provide any utility, no water walking, no faster flying just because that would be Pay 2 Win, they are just different skins, toys should be the same, i would make transform toys (every toy, not just shop ones) to last 30minutes with 45 minute cd so you can see how you really look in those 15 minutes, or when you die :smiley: haha

Why do people pay additional money to look unique in game even with transmog vendor? Everyone wants to shine ? Like when someone gets mythic Jaina mount he will be afking whole day on terrace in Dazar’ alor to show everyone what he got, nobody cares anyway, some will congratulate, some will hate and be jealous. It’s just another texture which helps you in traveling :smiley: I will never understand that though :confused:
