Ethreal Transmorpher toy

Hello there, so I bought the toy from the shop and find it really cool and fun… But restriction for 1 hour is too high for a paid toy imo… Well, even if my friend summon the ethereal we cant transmog us because “we’ve morped already”.

Well, I just hope that Blizzard bois and girls will change CD to 3-20 min (or remove cd at all).
I like the toy but restriction makes me really sad :frowning:

Make the toy repeatable like… Normal instance!

Can you see when your friend summons theirs? I summoned mine mid raid and no one else could use it apart from me.

And I agree the cooldown seems really harsh.

Every other morphing toy has a higher cd than the uptime, and this one seems to give some really cool looking morphs. I don’t see why it should be any different than other toys. (Corgi goggles for example has the same uptime in an hour, some have significantly worse than this toy like 5-10 min uptime with 1+ hr cds.) Unless you have a compelling reason besides having paid for it that this should get special treatment I don’t see why.
I imagine morphing toys have high cooldowns for the exact purpose that you can’t always just be in a morph, after all it is an rpg. (That said I don’t mind if this gets lowered if every other toy gets lowered too, I just don’t feel this toy needs any more incentives, it’s a pretty cool toy as is.)

the cooldown really isnt that bad compared to stuff like the coin of many faces with its 24 hour cd.

I havent minded if they rewarded ppl with a lot of toy with some achievement that made it so all your toy had almost no CD (ofc stuff that drop things into the world need to still have thier CD), but, stuff that only transform you, havent minded them having no CD.

And while they are at it, they can make the HM tauren totems on your back into toys and that black whelp transformation from TBC.

Edit: And fix the toy from IE, they break when you enter combat…

That’s a lots of possibles!

wow i bought it at once. Ill go around dressed like falric offering pears!
I guess Arthas\lich king isnt included?

If all transformation toys would have a lenghty CD but this one toy from the store had a short one, it would be a sh*tstorm on the forums because “toys are P2W now”.

It’s fine as it is

Actually i see the reason in cd removal from Blizzard perspective, 100% uptime, more fun, more customers, more cash earned, but i as player who doesn’t buy from shop don’t want it to happen. No one wants pay2win model, even toys which are stricte cosmetic would be p2w if it would be that better than any other in-game toy.

oh a literal toy for rich kids :joy:

because buying the game, paying active subscription, buying pets and mounts and what not isnt enough, now we gotta pay real money for toys too.

well done blizzard

Or you can earn gold, convert it to balance and buy them too!!!

I seem to remember you previously seemed to have no issue with gold when you were going to quit.

Yeah the cooldown is was too high for a toy that is in the store.

Anyway if I am not mistaken, Blizz wrote that the cooldown is 10 min in their first post, but in the next one, because there was some misunderstanding in what the toy actually do, so they clarified it, the cooldown changed

its not about me, its about corporation never ending greed.

aside from all that 360 000+ gold for 1 toy is a bit too much too.

pretty much this video :joy:

yeah here, you can either pay us JUST 10.00$ OR you can farm gold for 2-3 weeks and then get this MAGNIFICENT toy!!!

stop defending blizzards shltty decisions and greedy moves lol

That’s a very one dimensional way of looking at the issue, “more fun” is very subjective, and others around the users of these toys might disagree with the degree of fun when they have no idea what you’re even supposed to be in the first place cause you’re always running around as Blackhand/Vazruden/etc… . I think toys like Personal Spotlight or Corgi Goggles should have no cooldown as they literally don’t affect anyone else but you, but morphing toys probably need a cd for the RPG aspect not to be damaged.

I will defend whatever I want to defend. I don’t have a problem with the store, it is not selling anything game breaking by having a few cosmetics.

I will always make up my own mind.

pats its alright puny

Did you read whole post or just first 2 lines? :stuck_out_tongue: i’m also against cd removal.
