I have played retail wow for a long time on WoW EU, and have many mounts, transmogs, etc.
I just moved to the USA, and will be here for the foreseeable future. Let me say up front that I know characters and character-specific accomplishments (mage tower, etc) cannot be transferred from EU to NA, and I am not asking about that.
However, I am wondering if the same applies to mounts and general collection of transmogs. My question: If I buy a US license on the same battle.net account, would I have access to my collection of mounts and/or transmogs? From what I have read, most mounts are bound to a battle net account, so this makes me wonder if this is doable.
Almost nothing will transfer between regions, on the same battle.net account.
From past player posts though, several Blizzcon pets or mounts do however. But you’ll have to check your collection. You can add an US starter license its free and you should be able to see the collection ingame.
At my own side, only 6 mounts transferred and I see the unique launch or promotional mounts so only very few will go with you.
I moved back to EU servers in Shadowlands after spending my high school and university years studying in the US. It’s quite unfortunate that we can’t keep anything. However, there’s hope for the next expansion with the new account-wide Warband system being tied to your Battle.net ID.
