EU and US accounts not linked and should be!

My complaint is that US and EU accounts are not linked, so because of a move to another country, to be able to play with friends in that country and have better latency I had to move from US to EU, buy the game a second time and I had to start again from scratch, to which I don’t mind levelling is fun.
HOWEVER I do want my hard earned Grizzlemaw Druid form I got from completing the Mage Tower event on my US account available on my EU account as well!! I mean it’s meant to be account bound but they say no they can’t cause EU and US are not linked when there are already B-NET account items you can get for both US and EU!
Its just a bit unfair cause its no longer available and I already worked so hard to get it once before and now don’t have it at all, is it too hard to copy and paste?

Blizzard GM’s who have replied to my complaints through tickets have told me the developers go through the forum and read all the posts made by the community, and if there’s any great ideas or a lot of people want something they’ll look into adding it! anyone else with this issue agree?

Come on BLizzard EU and US linked accounts are needed!

That is so not true. Even more so on the EU forums.

I have always thought that Blizzard account bound was a lie too. What they mean is region account bound

The regions have different regulations, it will not be done.

I agree,
They should fix this.

Eh? LoL you can pay for a transference to another Region.

They may be separate databases, but it isn’t impossible to transfer… WoW probably just doesn’t because of old tech not making it possible without issues.

Different companies with different policies.

Ideally you’d get a worldwide Battle.net account and step into 2020, yet here we are.

its cheapness, pure and simple. They don’t want to pay the devs to make cross region a thing. the us an eu have almost identical laws about data transfer. Guild Wars 2 lets you just select the region.

They probably fear that their server are gonna to explode when they’ll be about to put them together.

I agree, how hard could it be to simply let us transfer our accounts if we move? It’s not the 18th century anymore, people move back and forth between continents all the time.

Would be lovely some day. At present we are Region locked.

blizz wont link 2 accounts, i mean you buying another account means profit for them xD and we all know how blizz feels about profit

It’s pretty stupid that it’s region locked in the game.

But you know what’s even worse, it’s that even the forums are region locked.
If you have an EU account, you can’t post in the NA forums and vice versa unless you have an active subscription there. So it’s just splitting the community for no reason.

Also EU forums get a lot less attention from the devs than the NA ones, which makes the EU forums a lot less active because of that.
People know whatever they write here doesn’t matter because no one from Blizzard really pays attention to the EU forums.

It’s really stupid that the forums are split apart, and I think this is the only Blizz game where each region has their own forums.
Whenever I go to the NA forums and look at a thread that I would like to respond to, I remember that I can’t and that happens pretty much every day.

It really sucks.

Feels like we’re discussing DVD region codes.

On topic, the devs should change it but then if you have to pay to transfer from one region to another, they probably wouldn’t, unfortunately, I mean, we’re talking about Blizzard here…

It’s 2020, OP. While, blizz as found new ways to rob you, by giving less options to players…

You got my vote OP!

In swtor you can transfer your char from EU to NA servers. I did that cos somehow EU servers lagged every 5 seconds, but i’m having stable connect on US servers now.

Dunno why blizz wont allow this.
