I select the character I want to transfer, I select the destination realm aaaaaaaaaand that’s where it all ends -_-
There’s no 3rd step where I should click on “finalize” or something similar to finish the transfer.
Are services down again as they were last week? Kind of annoying to have sales and not ensure your systems work properly.
LE: what happened to BattleNet messages that would let you know a certain service is down? why are players not informed about these services being down? why do we have to search endless unofficial forums posts to find answers?
Same problem and the customer support options in game offer no useful help + no clear indication on how to receive a live CS contact. Given this is a paid service this all seems a little ridiculous.
I am having the same issue with name change service. Lets me select the character, select the new name, both have green checks next to them, but nothing else happens. No grayed out “next” button, no finalize option, nada.
Also unable to find the option to submit a customer support ticket anywhere so here we are, on the forums hoping someone reads this… -.-
Yeah, not having a character services section for the in-game ticket system is weird. None of their options apply to character services and you get random AI-generated replies if you select something that does not apply.
Appreciate your reply Saneko. I know a similar issue occurred earlier last week, and was fixed on Friday.
However, as mentioned in the post, the issue seems to be back as of this morning’s reset (at least for Character Transfer & Name Change)
And no, I’m not trying to transfer a Remix character. Talking Retail here.
I just feel they could do a better job at letting players know when systems are down, considering it’s been almost a day now.
As for the AI-generated replies…really don’t want to start any unnecessary drama, but the last reply I got when trying to report this issue in-game as a technical issue is…interesting to say the least. Sounded very AI-esque as it told me to reach out to “computer or network technicians” on Blizzard Forums.
This also applies to Retail with my last Blizzard link about issues cropping up this morning.
I know I know, I feel they should’ve put up a warning banner so I could refer to that too when it was time to clock out but things must be hectic, good feedback.
I know where this part comes from, after the merger with Microsoft they whooped the entire Technical support department. So there’s only volunteers left and no official support is given anymore regarding any technical issues players may experience.
The related problems with boosts, paid services etc. generally actually fall under “paid issues” rather than technical but they’re all issues nonetheless that ought to be fixed before end of week (together with the constant lag)
Edit: The US side has opened up a centralised thread. I’m expecting the EU will do so too when office hours start tomorrow. Thank you!
