About us
Ever seen the Great Wall of China? Yeah, well, our guild made it greater. Visited the Grand Canyon? Our guild made it grander. Heard of Mount Pleasant? …Well I’m sure you get the jist.
Embers is a weekend raiding guild formed by a crew of old friends who’ve been gaming together for years. We’ve weathered expansions, wipes, and countless terrible pugs. Let’s just say, we’ve survived more wipe-fests than we care to admit. Life happens, we’ve gotten older (some of us, anyway), and our playtime isn’t what it used to be. So, we raid on weekends and keep things chill.
Our focus? Smashing Ahead of the Curve, pushing Mythic+, and doing it all without turning our gaming lives into a second job. Because, really, who has time for that?
What to Expect
Just because we raid weekends doesn’t mean we vanish during the week. Hop into our Discord and you’ll find us hanging out, usually after work with a drink in hand, throwing some casual banter around (and complaining about keys—because, let’s be real, who doesn’t?).
We play for fun first, and the banter is as important as the boss kills. Raids are full of jokes and laughs, and while we know when to buckle down and get serious, we never lose sight of the fact that this is, y’know, a game. If you like the sound of that, come say hello! Just don’t stand in the fire. 
What We Expect
We are currently looking for all classes and roles, both socially and for our raid roster. Right now, we only have a handful of consistent members, so we are open to a mix of everything. If you are looking for a weekend raiding guild with a relaxed but focused approach, you might just be the perfect fit.
English-speaking is a must. We like to talk… a lot.
Discord is required for raids. We get that some people are shy, and that’s totally cool. As long as you can hear the callouts and follow instructions, you’re good to go.
A working World of Warcraft subscription. Otherwise… why are you here? Unless you just really enjoy reading guild ads, in which case… respect.
A computer that can actually run the game. If your FPS drops lower than your DPS every time there’s a raid-wide AoE, we may need to have a chat.
An internet connection that isn’t powered by carrier pigeons.
18+. Not because we’re doing anything illegal, but because our humour can be questionable at best.
Other than that, just bring a good attitude, a sense of humour, and the ability to not stand in fire (unless it’s for comedic effect—then, by all means, go out in style).
Who We Want
Sometimes, it is not just about topping the DPS meters. We’d take someone who’s good at the game and doesn’t mind a bit of banter over a number-chaser any day. Even if we’re not actively recruiting your class or your ilvl isn’t quite there yet, if you’re exceptional, we want you.
But hey, we’re not just a raiding guild. If you’re more into Mythic+ or just hanging out, chatting in Discord, or running transmog runs, we’ve got you covered. We welcome all types, whether you’re here for raiding, PvP, or just a bit of everything.
