EU server is in shambles

As topic states - EU is in state of disrepair.

When prepatch came live it brought the servers to its knees. From login issues to black screen on character selection. It was a nightmare.

Now 16 years anniversary and sure enough EU login server is having a heart attack. But a minor this time - just black screen for 5+ minutes on character selection.

Now imagine first week of Shadowlands launch.
Server is unable to cope with moderate increase because of celebration. During the launch it will be onslaught of people.

EU doesn’t have maintenance crew anymore. EU office has been closed. Apparently people cost money and that is bad.

Launch day will be a clusterf**k globaly, but for us plebs in EU it will not be just a day the torement will last for a while.

Call me clairvoyant, but it will be far worse the US issues. Because they at very minimum have actual staff that can intervene.

Tbh. the servers are being hacked/attacked at the moment. This is not the same issue we had during pre-patch when the servers were simply overwhelmed.

Yes but who has money for stable servers anyways?

But it IS something new. Servers are hacked, and people been posting cutscenes from shadowlands that are not found anywhere.

I was not aware.

Hacking into a Blizzard server is no small feat. If others can reach our private data it would be a horrendous issue with security.

Many of us would have to cancel credit cards at the very least.

Silvermoon’s trade chat is filled with pictures. Kid you not PICTURES. And not links or something. Full blown pictures in the chat.

Agreed , let’s all cancel any form of payment that’s how they hack your credit card and buy with it .

Well you simply report the card stolen and get a new one.

So should your CC number leak via hacked source transaction will be declined.

In case your CC number is used for fraud it will take a while to go through process of getting funds back. And will will not be 20$ :wink:

I’m not really sure what you expect. CS twitter acknowledged there is an issue and they are investigating.

I don’t normally have any issue with my realm not showing characters, I don’t normally have to sort realms into alphabetical order in order to find Draenor and then select it. I choose a character, get in the game and then everything responds very very very very slowly. Eventually I’m stuck with everyone moving on the spot and the game wont let me log out. I get back in try another character, I get rubber banded and eventually same thing. I gave up and logged off at that point because logically there is something else going on here.

Then we see there are images being spammed in some trade channels. I can’t see the images just text but others say they are all sorts. Again this is not really usual and something is clearly going on.

I hate how they automatically set sub payment to recurring rather than of allowing us to select one time purchase and not store payment info.

Terrible lag over last week, even main city there is large lag which I never experienced up until recently.
