About us
Sunlight Overdrive is a Raiding and Mythic + focused guild, based on the realm Ravencrest EU, and UK based IRL. We raid in a fun and relaxed environment and we want to progress. We are all very friendly and enjoy a good laugh and have fun doing whatever content as a group. We do mythic + dungeons, raiding, delves and the occasional pvp content together.
We’re a fairly new guild. Created back in 2021, but only recently started recruiting members.
New and returning members are more than welcome to join

We raid on Mondays and Fridays
Our times are (based on server)
21:00 - 22:30
Current progression: 8/8N, 4/8H.
What do we need?
We need pretty much every role out there.
We have a few versatile players, but I would like those who are fully comitted to a role to take a role.
Myself, I can tank, heal or DPS, and I’d like to settle down and pick a spot.
Tanks:
Need anything but DK, we have plenty of those.
Healers:
Any and all are welcome. Lesser priority on Resto Shamans and Priests.
DPS:
Any and all are welcome also. Lesser priority of Warriors and paladins, we have plenty of those.
Ranged:
Higher priority on ranged DPS.
High priority on class specifics:
Rogues
Mages
Warlocks
Monks
Demon Hunters
Druids
Rules for joining
I want to create an environment welcoming for new and returning players. So I only ask that members be friendly and respectful to one another.
I want to emphasise, this part is not necessary to being apart of the guild as an experienced player, but is welcomed.
If new or returning players need/want help improving their class, advice is welcomed.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help also if you are new.
A little about myself
My name is Jace, Co-owner of Sunlight Overdrive, I’ve been around the wow scene since The Burning Crusade.
My experience in the game was solely PvP Focused until WoD, where I joined a PvE guild with a couple friends and started my first raiding experience.
I’ve done raiding in most of the raids since then. My first serious raiding experience was at the end of BFA, with Nyalotha, I was one of the tanks in a guild run by a friend which we pushed just over half of it on mythic.
Nothing really happened in Shadowlands, I played casually in Dragonflight pushed elite pvp gear on my warrior in solo shuffle, then decided it’s time to get the guild up and running in The War Within.
Joining methods
Alliance, you can just use the guild finder, apply to join through there, the guild is a blue background with a yellow sunlight icon.
For the horde players interested in joining. Unfortunately, the guild finder system doesn’t quite work cross faction yet, so I’ve made a community to join to make it easier on both of us to get you into the guild. Follow the instructions on the link below to join the community.
