I’ve noticed blizzard doesn’t give too much attention to EU forums compared to US, and the latter also seems a bit more active.
Why is that? Do they have a higher player base? Looking at raider io rankings for my class at least there seems to be more EU monks comparing to overall numbers. Or maybe we just have more/are higher ranked.
If I responded with what I’m truly thinking, i’d be banned from these forums again.
I challenge you to sit down and have a good hard think as to why your physical location isn’t actually an obstacle when it comes to online server regions.
It’s because Trump is a secret WoW player and he demands preferential treatment for the US forum. BTW, he always plays DH and spends his time pugging dungeons as part of 3-player groups and kicking people just before the last boss.
“So the other day I was playing my DH. Demon… uh, DEEmon Hunter. And I tell you they’re fantastic things, absolutely fantastic. Some say that The Elder scrolls has the best demons, but they don’t we definitely do. Our demons? The best. Some people have always said that Demon Hunters have a three button spec, I’ve always disagreed with that though. I have great relations with the demon hunters.” -Donillidan Trumprage
Reddit should burn in righteous fire… felfire works too, elemental fire, or frostfire … heck any warcraftian purple, pink, white, green, blue, or even normal fire would work!
Because Blizzard doesn’t care about the EU servers’ playerbase and regards us as an annoyance they have to put up with for profit.
“There is actually some genuine feedback post with a couple of links on the US forums… Uhm… If you look at the EU feedback thread you’ll see some… some things… But, not necessarily feedback.”
The reason Alliance is getting shafted this much is that, Blizzard care about US forums alot more and US Alliance players are a bunch of 67.8 average IQ people. We need to forbid US Alliance players to post on US forums.
This video you linked belongs to 2014, this is 2020.
Yes, which in turn means more activity, which in turn means a wider reach for the limited Blue Posts interaction we do get.
There’s also an inequality in the spread of the mods. I noticed that a lot of the replies, quite frequently too, come from this General Discussion part of the forums. Whereas… more pressing issues such as feedback for real actual fires that need to be put out such as the RBG bracket, the death of twink brackets (before squish was announced) or other PvP related topics generally… don’t get anything at all.
I wonder why that is honestly, are they just not specialized, are they forbidden to address these concerns? What about the old Bungie way of doing nothing essentially but still appeasing the players, you know… typing “We’re listening!” once in a while.
Perhaps the Blue Posts are just here to moderate and not much else. Idk.
Maybe because it’s an American game and they have large amounts of WoW players in USA? Ironically, EU have better players than USA. Naowh, Gingi, Zmok, Rogerbrown, all Europeans.
And it is extremely abused with artificial meme patterns so you get free Karma. You have there no real free speech, it is an illusion. If you are upset about anything, then it needs to be not only reasonable but also entertaining, ironically and a bit sarcastic. Sometimes pure complain topics work there because it’s a problem which should have dealt with a longer while (with today’s topic being Shadow Priests for easy karma farming).
Believe me, reddit isn’t the solution you are looking for. Blizzard recognized that downvotes aren’t contributing anything to the discussion but steer hate and encourages to silence opinions with enough votes which also goes against their manta with “every voice/opinion matters”.
