Even herb scarcity in SL is done on purpose

So that they keep you longer online when you want to farm herbs. Dang. :grimacing:

Herbs are scarce? Didn’t feel that way to me when I played.

Herb scarcity? There are herbs everywhere. The problem with herbing atm is low prices, caused by too high supply.

I see them respawn within 5 minutes while observing trains of bots farming them… so I can drop an Unstable Portal on top of it to have them bastards get scattered in whatever random zones! :smiling_imp:

Well, it is not like bfa where in 10 minutes you had a stack of sea stalk. Especially widowbloom is pretty slow to farm. The herbs that are everywhere is death blossom. And that one gots quite fast useless. i have given my M+ group already multiple times a stack of oils and health potions. I had somewhere 800 of those overflowing my bags :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Did you really say ā€œthere are herbs everywhereā€? Let me take you Revendreth and show you some things.

I bet the engagement would be higher if they’d just focus on creating a game which is fun to play instead of making people to get burnt out from their game. I mean, google trends for WoW are lower than during BfA which is an achievements by itself. The game is a comedy.

20-40g for a single herb is low? Have you played Legion or BfA?

I think you have to find the right spots, some small areas are far more densely populated with herbs than others I have found. I like to combine herbing with skinning personally, you can stay in a relatively small area whilst farming skins and wait for the herbs to respawn.

Oh yes. For some that actually works. But widowbloom, marrowroot and nightshade are still pretty slow :grimacing:

I wouldn’t say it’s deliberate - more like caused by the literal armies of druid bots running around and milking them dry. I can’t even breathe in the direction of a herb node without seeing a travel form druid giving it bedroom eyes.

Makes me scared to play my druid not gonna lie. I’m worried somebody will see me afking near a herb node or something and assume I’m a bot  It’s actually happened before.

Its kinda funny cause at beginning of SL i saw loooooooads of resources…
Then some weekly reset happened and I started to feel like I saw less.

Prolly cause at start I was basically sharded with 2 people, and now I have at least 6 and a botter in my shard.
Or they lowered the spawnrate.
Or both.

Same, I’m glad the herb issues with multiboxers are a thing of the past. I can herb and make my own pots and flasks. It’s great.

Yes thats low concidering there is no flying yet. Bfa herb prices also were higher than that until flying came along and farming them became alot easier. And deaths blossom is like 6g per pop already even nightshade the rare herb is only 40g on my server. The BFA rare herbs earned more than that even near the end of bfa.

there are plenty of herbs in ravendreth, Its just the terrain being horrible to farm them easily, and plenty of mobs wich can daze and dismount you as well.

On Stormscale (horde side) the price for herbs were waaay north of that prior to flying in both Legion and BFA. And some herbs, like Zin’anthids were ~60g until the last few months of BFA.

Anchor Weed, the BFA equivalent of Nightshade were going for just shy of 1k gold a piece* while Nightshade are currently sitting at 41g.

*Until they buffed the spawn rate a couple weeks into BFA. At which point they dropped to ~300-400g per herb.

Maybe depending on the amount of multiboxers then. I see in the last year no 60g outside of that 1 weird peak at 24th december. It dropped below 4g on my server.

Highest price in season 4 is 47g.
