I understand that evoker needs the dragon form, but having the humanoind form why we can’t use it for other classes like warrior, mage, priest…? Is such a waste of oportunity to use the half of a race feature and lock a race to a only one class.

why can’t Evoker be hunters ? imagon beeing a dragon with dragon pets …
With a non combat dragon pet while riding a dragon mount and fighting dragon enemies.
well in shadowlands hunters got ability to tame undead pets so i expect hunters to be avable to tame dragons in dragonflight
Well the race is called Dracthyr for a reason. It wouldnt really make sense to only use their humanoid form.
everything evoker is, is like racials to dracthyr. you cant have a dracthyr not be drakonic and you cant have a lets say a warrior dracthyr not be able to use his dragon stuff. thats why it would make 0 sense
Wouldn’t really make sense for a Dracthyr to be “just” a warrior or a hunter when they can breathe fire and have other magical abilities inherent to their race. Can see both points though but personally quite like the exclusivity.

Maybe instead of allied races, we’ll get quests to allow dracthyr to learn to be other classes? But that’ll probably be 10.2 or later, if ever 
(And unless they lose some ‘racials’ it would make for some OP choices. Imagine a dracthyr rogue with all that class CC, plus a knock up and knock back.)
Blizz has said they’re open to Drakthyr being other classes in the future, but for now, they’re sticking to the one class one race combo. It’s mostly a lore reason.
I struggle to see how a dragon will be able to hold a Gun or a bow or even knives… I mean… why would they want to, they’re magical creatures who can use dragon magic but given the option they’d run for a sword and board!!!

This is a disingenuous reply, you know what I mean by the Dracthyr being a magical creature by being a freaking Dragon! Why on Azeroths greenlands would a Dragon that can BREATH fire pick up a sword and a shield?!
Mages use a form of magic they are not magical creatures…
While more classes will come to the Dracthyr eventually, They’re gonna look goofy as hell and be very counter prodsutive to their entire race.
The Dracthyr race was specifically designed to be an Evoker nothing else so far.
