evoker disintegrate doesn’t interrupt flag capture at a base

it deals damage but does not interrupt capturing a flag in Blitz?
shouldn’t the damage interrupt it ?
had it happen multiple times, im dealing damage to the target they are sitting there and its not interrupting the capture
Channeling abilities doesn’t interrupt the flag capture.
ray of frost interrupts flag, thats a channel
so im confused how it can work for mage but not evoker
It probably applies an instance of direct damage and then goes channeling part.
