[Evoker] solution that would make everyone happy

A lot of ppl don’t really like the dragon form. A simple solution that would make everyone happy is a glyph that let’s you stay in visage form and transforms you automatically into a dragon every time you use a skill where you fly in the air or use a spell out of your mouth. When the spell ends you get transformed back instantly without a global cooldown.

So fighting mostly in visage and coming out of it for a few sec when spell animation requires it.

Edit: when you don’t like the idea you don’t need to use the glyph.
Why take other peoples happiness away, with your selfishness?
I don’t like even seeing one of this childish dragon, but maybe I would like the class. I don’t complain that I want them removed, what ever makes you happy.

Wouldn’t that make them Blood Elves basically?

Scaly Elves

No thank you, the Dracthyr form is what makes them Dracthyr. If you were in visage all the time it would just be an ordinary caster like we already have.

Remember visages are just an illusion, its not who you are…

Sorry I couldn’t resist.

Personally I do like the Drakthyr forms and I love the auto swapping out of combat.

Or add high elves , ogres and delete DH and dracthyr

Love it! Yes I was thinking that too. Glad you posted it

Something similar already exists. Look into your spell book. There is an on/off-spell that turns you into Visage form whenever you leave combat.

and we want this option for Worgen!!

As a Worgen player too I couldn’t care less but I get your wish.

But it would need to have ugly efects , be transparent and alter half of mog colours to be on pair with druid version of such glyph .

I think we Druids exist just to shut down everyone else’s transmog complaints.

You think THAT’s BAD? I look the same throughout multiple expansions, no matter what gear I use, and using any of my mounts is actually disadvantageous! And you DARE complain about your hair colour? :joy:

Something about watching

a blood elf spit fireballs,

randomly levitate for no reason and breathe fire

And completely break lore, as not even the aspects can fight in visage.

Seems utterly ridiculous to me… :joy::joy:

If you wanna be a evoker, but not a dragon. Play a fire mage.

Here’s another solution:

If you don’t want to fight in heavy armour with sword and shield don’t play Prot Warrior.
If you don’t want to look like a cat, don’t play Feral Druid.
AND IF YOU DON’T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A DRAGON DON’T PLAY THE BLOODY DRAGON CLASS. :man_facepalming:

Enough already.

A Tauren rogue seems utterly ridiculous to me… but, as we all know…

Because some dont want the lore just being further absolute trashed for the sake of things

Its not about being selfish. You dont seem to reliese, the casting of the class would need standardising to make sense for a elf to use the abilities.

Which means u want something unique deleted from the class for the sake of it being able to be a elf because you dont want to be a dragon.

Not even the aspects are able to fight in visage. It makes litteral no sense that ud be able to.

Well its not like to everyone is not happy that they need to come up with a glyph tbh, its like saying who was in charge of the dragonform you did a bad job because people dont like it. Everyone knew from the start that you go into dragonform when you are in combat, its like worgen tbh. Same thing

A tauren rogue isnt lore breaking though.

Aspects cannot fight in visage, nor can any drakonid.

Taurens have never lore wise been deemed unable to be rogues.

Also, tauren rogue didnt require a animational redesign.

Absolutely agreed. Dragon form is the only thing holding me back from maining the class. At least as preservation you can already fight out of visage form for the most part. Chosen Identity is a step in the right direction, but doesnt always work. At the moment I am manually switching out of dragon form if chosen identity isnt doing it for me - thats only a temporary solution.

Having a glyph that puts you back into visage form after using a dragon skill would fix the issue completely for me. Alternatively, taking chosen identity off the gcd would also help - that way I could macro it into every ability that uses the dragon form.

Udderly*

And yes, it is…

But it’s like… how something looks and moves vs how it plays are just two things that have become completely disconnected in people’s minds. It just… they don’t care. And I don’t really understand why…
