In cases like this i always wonder how bad of an employee you have to be to not respond to something like this. The EU moderation team, even if only 1 person on that team, surely must have seen this. I’ve messaged them both here and on twitter and no replies. What are they being paid for? IF i was this slow at my job i’d be fired instantly

The XP buff will remain until the release of pre-shadowlands which will be May 18 afaik
They are not removing the EXP buff. They’ve extended it until the Shadowlands Pre-patch.
What in the world makes you think the prepatch drops on may 18?
May 18th? That’s a bit early don’t you think? BFA Pre-Patch didn’t release that early afaik.

Ah. I think this person thinks it launches at that time cause that’s when the rep bonus ends.
The rep boost may be until May 18, my bad. But the articles I have read all say the XP boost is until Shadowlands pre-patch.
No need to be so toxic. We’re trying to have a nice discussion, and trying to make a point that they should’ve released the rep boost at the EU daily reset, and then for the US at their daily reset.
And that is correct, it is until the pre patch, but I don’t think that they’ll release the pre patch this early. Alpha hasn’t been going on for that long.
Regardless, this way we can all have a bit more to look forward to during this “interesting” time so be thankful and just enjoy

I dont think we are gonna see Shadowlands before November at the earliest. I wouldnt be suprised at a 2021 release either. How long do we usually have prepatch for? A month? A few months? -
2-3 months usually.

July 18th was when the BFA Pre Patch launched.
2 months. Then i’d say prepatch September-December launch

BfA started Alpha Testing in Feb of 2018, Public Beta testing was in Late April.
So yeah, I believe you when you say September-December launch, maybe 2021.
If we go by how they might do the release schedule now due to everything that is happening in the world.
Please don’t steer the topic in another direction. We’re all here wondering about the state of the event. I’d requests folks to stick to it.
