my game constantly crashes with Exception: 0xC0000094 (INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO) at 00007ff78646e98d
I’ve tried several tips i found but nothing seems to work. New and old gpu drivers, deinstalled overlay programs, scan and repair wow, reinstall wow and so on…
My system: 13th gen i9-13900K , Nvidia GTX 4090, 32 GB Ram, M2 NVMe hard disks
Anyone have any idea what i can try next?
Hello, (It’s not on Classic but) I have the same problem, I already have these crashes there at the time of the pre-patch TWW July 24, 2024 my game began to crash with these 2 error codes (ACCESS_VIOLATION) and (INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO), it had been fixed, then at the time of the patch of this morning (11.0.5) it returned, with the same error codes…
I also have an i9-13900K and the problem could apparently come from the micro-code that would have damaged our cpu, but if that’s what it was, why did a game update fix the problem, only to have it come back with a new game update?
I have the same issue. Same CPU. I applied the motherboard BIOS update months ago and this completely fixed the issue for me. Originally, before the BIOS update, the game would only crash occasionally after several hours with the ACCESS_VIOLATION error. Now, today after installing the patch, I am getting consistent and immediate crashes with INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO after trying to log into my main. At least the game was playable before…
I have also encountered this crash multiple times today. I haven’t played for 2-3 weeks. I had 2 crashes within 30 min, one after crafting and another for just flying around in Dornogal. I have probably had 5-7 crashes today…
Funny thing is that I can play other games without any issues. I have also patched the Microcode issue as soon as I was able and the PC is less than 3 months old.

CPU: i9-14900KF
Nvidia GTX 4090
96 GB RAM
NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD
So it seems we all have the same issue. I also did the bios update and then i was able to play a few weeks with a rare access_violation error. Same as you @Fozzie.
Hey guys, seems the issue was fixed with today’s patch. I haven’t played long but I am no longer immediately crashing after login.

Same here,i was talking break from the game for like 3 weeks or so and never had any crashes before , come back for the anniversary patch and i notes many random crashes and high ram usage .

Was happening to me like 10mins into game, reinstalled WoW, updated all drivers, or even restored to old ones. Just played 2hrs straight with no crash, then surprise… Crash again that’s the error code 95F5246A-3E2E-43EC-B857-5EB9D89E6CB8. Wanted to link an image of error window but it won’t let me.
Hello there, i have found the solution to this issue, You guys have to download an app thats called ‘’ Intel Extreme Tuning Utility ‘’ it’ll allow u to change some setting to overclocking your device, change the performance Code Ratio and Efficient Core Ratio,
i have the performance one at 53x and changed it to 50x and the Efficient core one at 40x and changed to 38x, it doesnt rly effect your device but it allows the game not to crash at all, i used to crash every 5 minutes but now ive played for about 2 hours without a single crash.

Unless they fixed something or I fixed it by setting WoW.exe file to be compatible with Windows 8, played today 4 hours straight, no crash/lag etc.
