Will new characters who have already logged in for the first time before the pre-patch be offered Exiles Reach?

I have been preparing to start again on a new server and have been creating new characters for each class. If I log in to set up UI, equip Heirlooms and start collecting rested bonus, will it still be possible to go to Exiles Reach?

Also what happens to the level of brand new Demon Hunters (lvl 98), Death Knights (lvl 58) and Allied races (lvl 20) created before the pre-patch but not logged into the game for the first time?

Is Exiles Reach and subsequent choice of levelling expansion offered via a pop up?

new players auto go exiles reach.

Veteran players can choose either one if they go core races.

DK-s, DH-s, and allied races start at lvl 10 and start how they started before (DH-s start around lvl 5 i guess, and reach lvl 10 via their normal starter experince).

Level 8 instead of 5 IIRC.

You choose which levelling experience you want after the character creation is done. There is no opportunity to gather rested.

I think they WILL autoconverted, once 9.0 hit the live servers.

You cannot go Exiles Reach after you create character bore 9.0.
You chose where you want go Exiles Reach or standard starting zone when you push create character buttom.

On the PTR when you press confirm on the create a character screen, it pops up asking you if you want the racial starting zone or exiles reach.

Based on this I would say if you’ve already created a character then you will not be able to complete exiles reach.

Allied Races, Demon Hunters and Death Knights are excluded from Exiles reach

I was going to go through here on an aliied race or two before levelling for heritage armour.
I’ll likely just create a few toons to experinece Exile’s Reach and then delete them…

Me too. It is stupid idea that allied races cannot start questing there.

Yeah, unfortunately Exiles Reach is designed for levelling 1 - 10, because Allied Races start at level 10 now, they’re automatically exempt from Exiles Reach.

Demon Hunters and Death Knights start at level 8 in their own starting areas with the exception of Allied Race Death Knights who start at level 10 just like non DK AR’s
