Yo! I’ve gotten quite a bit of whispers being very surprised of the new 30 minute reflecting prism they’ve added in Dragonflight! So, as someone who likes to RP exotic/NPC races, here’s a reminder to you! Use this new prism!
Exotic RP has never been more smooth, and easy!
(THE NEW PRISMS ONLY STACK TO 200, AND DOES NOT HAVE CHARGES, LIKE THE REFLECTING PRISMS! SO BULK UP ON THEM!)
A little tutorial you can use, to RP smoothly with this new prism:
Get the regular Reflecting Prisms. (The old ones)
Get quite a bit of the new Projection Prisms. (They are cheap on the AH)
Get your prism trial/your friend online, and into a group with you.
(If you go for the trial smurf route, I heavily recommend making a Rogue, so they can stealth. This is the method I use).
Get yourself your desired morph. (You do this by playing a Rogue, applying the ‘Glyph of Disguise’ to your ‘Pickpocket’ spell, then pickpocketing a humanoid. NEEDS to be pickpocket able too).
Get yourself back to your groupie.
Use your REFLECTING PRISM on the groupie, but only once.
Then use the PROJECTION PRISM on them, also only once.
This will make you copy the switched appearance you prismed onto them, which will result you both having the NPC morph.
Then, whenever you need to re-prism, you do the same procedure as before.
Reflection Prism once > Projection Prism once > RP!
