Did you see faction pride anywhere before the end of the expansion, though? Cause I did not.
Remember Anduin is set to rule for many years to come, with Velen by his side.
I suppose a time of peace.
Where is the Horde on that time period ?
Maybe itâs now part of the Alliance ?
Unlike Thrall he is young and he is friends with Baine, who is also young.
He is the High King of the Alliance, Baine will be the Warchief of the Horde.
That sets two lawful leaders, that are friends, for a very long time, a very long time if you get what I mean.
Cheers.
There is no faction pride in this xpac unless you are either a) Scourge wannabe (Horde) or b) Enjoy losing repeatedly even when you win (Alliance).
There is no logic to the writing because imho there was never meant to be one in the world.
Itâs always been about the money, though I am surprised to hear that WoD and Legion had similar takings. Assuming this is true, then from a business perspective, BfA makes perfect sense. Just another monopolistic-type behaviour towards a product. Decreasing the quality as much as they dare, relative to the price.
Thatâs one potential timeline, and talking specifically about that timeline, Velen still refers to Anduin as âHigh Kingâ. That means that the Alliance still exists as a political organization.
Correct.
And who is part of this Alliance ?
Did they specifically said, that the Horde still exists in this time period ?
Maybe that Alliance is now composed of all Horde races as well.
Remember, if itâs not written, it can be changed.
Also remember the next Warchiefs:
- Baine is a friend of Anduin.
- Gallywix wonât have problems working with the Alliance, while backstabbing and plotting to overcome the Alliance, behind their backs.
- Lorâthemar tried to join the Alliance, during Garrosh period.
If you think Baine is pro Alliance, remember the Tauren has no history with the Alliance, unlike the High Elves, which followed Kaelâthas, after the defeat against the Litch King and named themselves Blood Elves, in memory of their fallen brethren.
Unlike Garrosh and Sylvanas this people can work with the Alliance.
Even Gallywix, heâs more of a crook, than a warmonger.
Off course this is just my assumptions.
As always, I can be wrong.
But as I see it right now: PVP isnât in a good shape.
For me: I lost any interest in PVP when the best rewards were put on the arena and not on Battlegrounds, in TBC.
I am proud of being the Lieutenant General of the Horde, gladiator titles means nothing for me.
The population is shrinking, can we maintain the two factions system, when all players care about is the best racial, class combo ?
Does Method and the High end guilds care about who sits on the Warchief throne of the Horde ?
No.
So true.
Remember when I told I wasnât buying BfA for this account ?
I was wrong âŚ
Yesterday I got a e-mail offering BfA for less 44% than the original price, until 8th of this month.
Bought it, without thinking twice, just the 110 level boost is worth more than that.
And it was all the money I had left in my Blizzard account as well âŚ
Because my account will expire in a couple of hours ⌠I have to top up the account (again) if I want to keep playing it.
Sometimes I think this company, reads my mind as a book âŚ
Cheers.
I mean, yeah, stop favouring the Horde when it comes to racials and try to make the situation more balanced. Taking the lazy route and just removing the Alliance gives them no credit. It doesnât take an expert to realize that the problem is that the Mythic scene is dominated by the Horde.
Remember vanilla period ?
I remember playing in a heavily alliance populated server.
That only became balanced when a race with Alliance aesthetics, was introduced on the Horde in TBC, that was the Blood Elves.
Population balance PVE and PvP side will always be a issue.
Yes they could make the Alliance racials better and I believe Method and the High end guilds would switch.
But how many people would protest because now they have to pay again, for a faction change, so they can play with their guild ?
Look, how many times they had to bribe players from each faction to have that Warmode turned on ?
They had fourteen years to balance everything.
Are we better than in 2005 ?
I donât think so.
Cheers.
If there is no more Alliance or Horde, then the competition in mythic ranking will stop instantly. Knowing how Blizzard is very lazy, this is the most likley outcome.
They donât have to make Alliance racials better than Horde racials, but they could try to make them a more valid option. At the moment, there is no contest, the Horde racials, especially the Blood Elves one, are too good, hence why most PvE guilds are Horde and PvP is heavily Horde dominated as well (just look at the Battle of Nazjatar).
I agree.
But I guess they will go with this route:
As Erevien stated:
As stated by IamBaibe:
In real life the human being takes always the lazy way of doing things.
I see my colleagues doing it again and again and I hate them for that.
Why wouldnât a multimillion company do it ?
Cheers.
They sure can! Until they go the way of the Ford Pinto and many of the old US car manufacturers, or whatever the equivalent is in gaming productsâŚbricking your pc? Exploiting your customers too far has only one outcome, and that the moment a better quality product comes out at a similar price? Youâre finished.
Yes the hardcore playerbase, including numerous individuals in this forum, will stay with the game despite knowing the terrible state. You have my pity. When they pull the plug on the game servers finally due to the running costs being too high (old game engine is just gonna get worse), you will be forced to move on. And Activision wonât give a damn.
I agree.
On my case, WoW is the only game I play, aside from Candy Crush Saga.
The patience I had for new games is no longer there.
WoW may be my final adventure.
I think that day may have already come, tbh.
From what I heard in this video, from HeelvsBabyface, FF XIV latest expansion story is amazing.
Cheers.
