So it seems Blizzard will release the cinematic for the next expansion at gamescom in August like they did so many times before with others. What are your hopes and wishes in the story which will be centered around Quel’thalas considering blood elves barley got any new lore since TBC? Let us hear your ideas. We don’t judge.

as someone who loves Sylvanas I hope we see her again and come the full circle. Unlike her sisters she actually died defending their homeland.

I really, really hope not.
She can stay in the Maw for 10 more years (real time) if it was up to me.
Anyway, my more realistic hopes for Midnight:
I hope the focus on void isn’t too heavy. I hope there’s other themes and not everything is dark and brooding.
We’re already spending the majority of our time in dark underground places in this expansion; following it up with more darkness doesn’t feel good.
If not for the fact that we’re getting housing, I might even be thinking about skipping Midnight (and just play through it when the final patch is released - for the story).
But… We’ll see.

Silvermoon revamp is long overdue considering blood elves are the second most popular played race after humans.

Sure. But on the flip-side, despite me hating the race, the draenei then also deserve a revamp of their starting zones and ‘capital’, with all things being equal.
Anyway, I have no issue with Silvermoon.
I have an issue with dark depressing themes.

I am certain it will become the best looking capital in the whole game from that moment on. I have 7 blood elf characters right now and they all need a decent RP hub.
She will have to comeback, not sure if Midnight exactly but she will.
She is the fractal for Elune.
Elune is also soul-split like Sylvanas.
Another thing i want to add: Sylvanas is also known as Lady Moon.

I am not sure what Last Titan will bring but the one thing that is set in stone is the Titans being revealed as evil in the end. And Azeroth wants us to break free from their influence.
I don’t think they’re ‘evil’ perse. They’re fanatics; and that means doing things to advance what you believe is right, at any cost.
I personally think that’s way more interesting than corny ‘good vs evil’.
The light and the void are just ‘forces’. They’re not inheritently good or evil.
Just opposed. And that causes conflict.

Odyn should be a dead end how the Titan doctrins work.
The camera opens on a moonlit forest—whispers of an ancient elven song echo softly. The camera pans over familiar elven landmarks: the ruins of Zin-Azshari, Silvermoon, Val’sharah, and Suramar and etc.
The voice of a Nightborne narrator begins: :
“Ten thousand years ago, we were one race. But our queen betrayed us! Now we shall unite and face the threat approaching our home.”
The scene then switches to Lor’themar and Thalyssra kissing, viewed from the angle of Xal’atath’s feet.

I hope to see her real soon too. Only I don’t want here to come back with redemption i want to see her come back with vengeance and retribution. She needs to put all these disney princesses six feet under permanently starting with jaina.

She is calmer now so I won’t get my hopes up. I just take anything with elves with a hand kiss.

well it would make sense if they would shift their focus to pandareans .for one wow was relaunched in china .second mist of panderia classic is coming so if next retail expansion has some link to pandareans it might make sense
