Experimental Vengeance Build - Feasible?

Hi,

I have an idea for a vengeance build which I wanted to run past people with a lot more experience than me to see how feasible it would be. I love vengeance but prefer to play my tanks more defensively rather than offensively.

The basis of the build is to stack the Gaping Maw azerite trait (the one that gives you a shield each time you cast Soul Cleave) and then use Soul Cleave as much as possible. My talent build:

On my character (lvl 117 and crappy ilvl) with around 100k HP I calculate that:
- Soul Cleave heals for about 3k
- Consuming 2 soul fragments would heal for around 5-10k (depending on damage taken)
- 3 x Gaping Maw would shield for around 6-12k (depending on missing health

That means I get around 15 - 25% healing\shielding each time I Soul Cleave. With my talents I've found I can Soul Cleave almost every other GCD. That sounds pretty good to me and should make me pretty tanky.

What do you think? Does this sound feasible? Bear in mind that I am not pushing the bleeding edge and don't raid - I just like pugging mythic +.

Cheers.
