Explain to me the forum logic

explain to me the forum logic about why we cant post gifs until TL3, however, we CAN post videos. what makes youtube videos “safer” than gifs? what logic is this?

even the guy is laughing at the logic

gore, shock gifs/images, take your pic.

you can find gore youtube videos too. if a picture or moving picture can speak a thousand words, then boooy a video will speak 10,000 words.

Good question, OP. But that whole system is. If it was a one time grind, or easier to keep at the very least… looking at you, 20K posts read!

Wait wait wait… They can take away my gifs?

Nope, just the right to post them unless you pretty much no life the forums.

Well, not that much but it’s still demanding, especially since for problem solutions, even a newbie would rather post a screenshot to make it easier.

There’s a good reason some regulars repost the links of their “non-trusted” peers.

The only way to get it permanently is by a beta invite. Of course I opted in asap. But honestly, I’d rather just buy it for 15 bucks.:laughing:

If you unsub or get a vacation then yes they do and if you get a ban it will take 6 months min to re-earn it.

I guess one of the reasons is that pics or gifs can be viruses in disguise, while they trust youtube to prevent such stuff. This is why if I’m not mistaken, TL2 is enough for stuff like twitter and reddit links.

Gifs are short and fun.

That’s what she said

TL3 should be permanent. I got it twice and both times I lost it because I took breaks from the game.

cry in youtube…

Except if you get a forum ban or multiple posts flagged and removed, then you should lose it and have to grind it again. Otherwise I agree.

All sounds very logical.

I presume there has to be some reasoning.

This isn’t the first poster to go to the trouble of finding the gifs they want to post as youtube vids instead
