So far I started to do very tiny exterior styling and rapidly find out that there are limit of 200, for outside decor, for huge and possible interesting stylings, 200…Seriously? I’ve only made a little lane to my house entrace and almost run out of exterior limits due to that, that’s not serious
Make the tiny things bigger?
200 is far too low, needs to be doubled or even trippled.
I agree. 200 is a tight limit considering that currently there is no ground clutter such as grass in your home area, so you have to waste additional limit just to grass the place up a little bit (and it won’t be enough to cover the area completely), leaving almost nothing for exterior building. It is not possible to set up a garden or to build a small cave with such limitations and I hope these will be raised soon for at least 400 by default and increasing up to 800 with house level renown track
even 600 will be not unough, 1200 looks more like something manageable while i’m sure blizzard stated that their limitations would be muuuuch bigger than other housings has so it must start with 2000 at least and increase with house leveling
I really hope they plan to increase this in the “full release”. noticed it in alpha/beta but then i just figured it would go up with housing level.
But now that i looked closer at it it really took the wind out of the whole feature. Was building a nice viewpoint and a nice garden. then suddenly i ran out of decor space with like 70% of the plot still empty, looks really stupid and i dont want to fill it out with random big things that doesn’t fit the aestetichs.
I get that they might need to limit it for performance with to much things to load in, but 200 is just way to low, let it increase by 50-100 per housing level or something.
Some my friends thinks that too but we live in the world where we have 5 account-wide UI layouts and had 8 or 10 talents presets per characters till tww s2, there are so many limits that just meaningless in DAMN FULL PAID GAME WHERE WE PAY FOR EXPANSIONS AND SUBSCRIBE MONTHLY, I would agree on that if wow was f2p but not when it is what it is
Yeah, it’s too low to do much with. You just can’t fill up the plot unless you put random giant decorations just to fill the space. So you end up with 30-50% of the plot having actual themed, decent looking decoration and the rest empty. Even worse if you want to use decorations to modify your house. I’ve heard it repeatedly said this is to stop instability from too many decorations, but if that’s the case then perhaps they should have considered not cramming 55 people plus their houses and decorations into one neighbourhood. Drop it down to 24-30 people and it’s going to use up less resources and leave more for decoration limits.
That said, on full release we can change house size, so maybe bigger houses will go some way to filling the empty space.
20% for me, I have now 198/200 and thinking about blizz announce about some decor challenge week ago while…we can’t actually do that in proper way lmao
Probably it’s some kind of a very tricky magic to load and render small decor only when player is near by and from far distance preload only big structures, unknown technology(that blizzard actually used when dragonriding was added to old world)
Oh ya, I would love to see the limit be as high as possible as well. Just saying that making the max limit just 500-600 would significantly improve my experience and ability to create a good looking plot.
Just planted some trees and flowers and its already almost full-.-
I noticed it yesterday. I have my house with some nice ivy growing on it and just some platforms and cobble stones outside, 90% of my plot is empty because I am already at the 200 limit!!!
I also have some complains about this, and not sure how this was not looked over. I was building outside and not even half done, and i hit 200 instantly which for me feels unrewarding when going around picking all of these things up. It needs to be increased by ALOT.
Also ALOT of items cant be used outside that should be. Lanterns, lights, brazers and such is restricted and im not sure why.
I hope they sort this out or housing will become boring fast
I hope in Midnight they will revert this.
Blizzard could you please increase the outdoor limit or increase the fences to be wider. It’s a shame I’m not able to create a fence around my plot.
At first I really disliked the limit, but I’ve gotten so addicted to housing, so now I appreciate some kind of limit. ![]()
Though - There’s less desire to hunt for more decor, if I can’t place it anyway. ![]()
