Extra Action Button - Bugged

My Extra Action Button has been stuck with having the same spell “Summon Cleansing Totem” stuck as active for a full week now, I believe its from a world quest in Azure Span, but has since not disabaled itself.

I have not been able to do any other actions that involde the use of the extra action button, ie Broodkeeper Dlurna and the football boss in Algeth’r Academy.

I have tried resetting wow completed, no addons enababled, full cache and WTF reset but it only appears on one of my characters. Its been visable for a week now.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same issue it also makes it impossible to perform some other activities with action buttons

To affected players: Can you try doing this specific quest to see if this fixes it?

It has been reported on the US bug report forum already, otherwise try this:

You may otherwise have to submit it ingame as CS doesn’t monitor such bugs:

We submit bug reports through the In-Game Bug Report in the Europe Region.
Reports submitted in this fashion will not receive a response. Instead, they’ll be directed to the teams responsible for addressing them.

To report a bug in-game:

  1. Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
  2. Click Support.
    2.5 Note: Do NOT use search bar or click “Contact Support” links.
  3. Click Submit feedback or bug report, the middle button in the row with the Anub’Arak bug/insect icon.
  4. Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
  5. Click Submit.
    If prompted to go to US Bug Report forum, go back to step 2.5

for me it worked just beeing in the area north of iskarra. Thanks alot! but i reported that bug

same here i bugged out the entire dungeon for everyone when i clicked the ball in academy but there was only the totem in place, tried porting out and disable addons nothing worked, balls stuck at 2/3 and no more ball to be picked up, group disbanded thanks of this wich didnt feel very good for me. TBH you would do us all a favor to just delete that totem related wq from the game it was horrible

This bug is still around now - I must have done the wq…still have the totem as the extra button which locks me out of any content that requires this. Needs fixing now!!

I too have this problem and it messed up the broodmother raid boss as i couldn’t use the staff top pop eggs. Would really liked this fixed asap :frowning:

Hey all,

Usually if you’re affected by something like this on a character, the easiest solution would be to kill your character (by flying up and then dismounting for example), or enter a Skirmish to remove all possible buff/debuffs/auras (which is usually how extra action buttons as applied to a character).

If you know which quest caused the issue to begin with, please do feel free to report the bug directly to our developers.

just gigacrashed an academy key lol

queue an arena skirmish to clear it

Note : Following quest also adds an action button that can’t be removed and will brick your M+ keys

Furry Friends, somehow picked it up when farming leathers, its a world quest.

follow actions above or complete quest to remove button
