Extra mouse button not casting if cursor pointing on action bar

So I want to cast interrupt from my extra mouse button. I’m a clicker. If my cursor is on the action bar and I press the extra mouse button to interrupt, it won’t register unless the cursor is off the action bar.

Anyway I can make it register whilst the cursor is on the action bar?

Install Clique and setup the keybind through its interface.

You could also use external software to map your extra mouse button to send a different input. i.e. pressing the mouse button acts like pressing the ‘k’ key on your keyboard. Then bind the spell to ‘k’ within WoW.

ps. This annoyance will never be fixed, it’s been like this since Vanilla.
