Making this thread as a sort of PSA - I’ve suffered from extreme latency issues on wow for the past couple of weeks, with support being unable to assist me and my isp shrugging shoulders. Today in an attempt which I assumed would be futile, before purging my pc to all hell and formatting, I started disabling stuff at random. One such program was the Roccat SWARM client, which controls the light effects on my new keyboard. To my surprise, any and all latency issues immediately stopped.
The software was causing connectivity issues in other games as well, which is the first thing that roused my suspicion that it’s not a solely WoW related issue.
I don’t know if it’ll help anyone else, but be aware that SWARM is a massive pile of buggy code and was the cause in my case.

Hiya Baribolf,
Thank you for sharing that with us here. Applications that are running in the background when gaming can at times cause some odd issues, we would always suggest to close background applications and see if that improves things. It might be worth checking if that program has an update, or a support forum to report issues to have it looked into.
Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!
