Playing classic SOD with friends from the EU, i live in California and I usually take the ping problem well when playing hundreds of other games with them. But as of recent there is a problem with the latency. Half the time I get 150-170ms (playable) and the other half the time I get 270-4000ms (I cannot play/move). Obviously I have great internet and 0 issues with my IPS. If anyone has had a similar experience or anyone might have a solution, lmk.

Same here! Glad I’m not alone. I play from US to EU on retail and made my own thread but no response yet.
Exitlag has been the only way I can actually play and I do not like having to pay for an additional service. Would love a Blue response acknowledging our issues and letting us know they are working on it.

Yeah, I live in Texas, but also play with friends on EU and it started about two weeks ago, every evening from 6 pm to ~9 pm I get ping of 1700-9000ms.

Oh thank god I am not alone in this. I have been on EU (living in Canada) since Shadowlands launched and it has always been a fine 150 MS or so. Since about December randomly (mostly in the evenings for me which is like 2-4am EU time i think) I will randomly get 300-3000MS and nothing fixes it.
I know others from NA playing on EU that have the same issue and if they VPN out of NA to connect it fixes it. Blizzard must have changed something in regards to routing.
