It took us half a year to find out that not every evil ethereal is working for Xal’atath. Now we’re going to wait another half a year for yet another piece of lore. And it will be as I said in my other thread: This expansion is too simillar to Dragonflight
I’m amazed that nobody complains, and some people even defend it along with other things, like maximum monetization. If you’re happy with what we got for the next half a year, I have to say gamers have been boiled like frogs.
If I wanted a good story I’d go read a book.
I gotta agree… kinda stopped caring about the lore after BFA and shadowlands. Not because they where really bad or anything. But the vibe in the lore since those expansions has turned wow into a cartoon show.
Now its always been a cartoon show but how do i explain this in a way people understand… xD remember the old Teen titans that went on cartoon network before?

We went from a gritty dark Lord of the rings and warhammer wannabe mmo. To a Avatar the last airbender spin off show in a few expansions. the vibe check just doesn’t do it for me.
Lore and story wise… It seems as if the lore and story is trying to appeal to the very youngest of fans.
