Eye of Azshara: The Heart of Azshara

Greetings, fellow (Arch)mages & Blizzard representives,

I am Archmage Miridon and today, i went over to Kalec and he had a quest for me called "Eye of Azshara: The Heart of Zin-Azhari. So i accepted it, i went over there, killed all the bosses and defeated this so-called “Wrath of Azshara” I had the quest enabled with my tracker but for some reason, it did’nt tick off the kill. Also, i did saw something drop which qas kinda purple-ish and i’m guessing, THAT was the heart. The problem was… it would’nt let me pick it up.

Simply put:

I busted my a** off killing all those bosses, spending like 20-30 minutes on it and apparantly… it was all for nothing. I mean, really… what’s the point of doing quest if it does’nt work properly? At this point, i guess u can tell that i am pretty annoyed by it, So i made a ticket but so far, no answer yet.

  1. Why did’nt it count the defeat?
  2. Why was’nt i able to pick up the Heart of Azshara after defeating the Wrath of Azshara?
  3. What are you, Blizzard (because i know that at least 1 Blizzard representives are out there reading posts) are gonna do about it?

Either way…
I want some answers.

First of all 20-30 minutes? In a legion dungeon at 120. Secondly why you doing legion dungeon quests at 120?

It’s a quest i got from the NPC named “Archmage Kalec” in the class hall
who eventually will get me the class mount

Ah. I think thats the wrong questline. I might be wrong but I think thats the one you need for artifact appearences.

Well… Either way… it’s still weird it did’nt count nor was i able to pick up the quest item.

Yh you need the item. I think originally it hard to be done on mythic. Did you get an error message? Haven’t already got one in your bank have you?

Well… I still have all 3 legion artifact weapons and no, i did not get an error message. It just would’nt let me pick up the quest item nor did it tick off the defeat.

Odd. Did you do it on mythic? If not try it on mythic. First time I did I forgot loot lol

Yes, that quest has to be done on Mythic difficulty.

Very well…
I’ve tried it on Mythic then and turns out that i was actually able to pick it up this time. Finally. I still find it kinda weird that it did’nt say something like “This quest can only be completed on Mythic level” or something. Now it’s like… you have to figure it out yourself.

It used to in Legion, I remember. Weird that the notification has been removed from the quest.

I thought they changed it later on, 7.3 or something to hc. Strange that op could see the item…
