So is anyone actually enjoying mw in arenas atm?
Maybe im just crap, but i feel like that meme, where im the one pressing buttons like crazy and the other healer (who for some reason 80% of time is a druid) is just chilling and laughing at me. Mana being a major issue, for when im oom, the other classes are alteast over 30% still, even with fairly same healing at the end.
Please share in my anger so i might feel better.
MW is one of the worst healers in PvP right now. The changes in 10.0.5 won’t change this fact. In the current meta, if you have to cast as a healer you are trash. Afaik Sheilun’s Gift has a 2 second cast time - which is a bad joke. The new talent Burst of Life is rather a nerf to Life Cocoon than a buff, who comes up with this sh!t?! In addition Chrysalis was nerfed again by 15 seconds, what are these devs smoking? I mean seriously?! The only saving grace might be Zen Pulse, which low key could be not trash (at best).
Did 30 rounds of solo suffle today. 28 resto druids, 1 shammy and one disc priest. Low rated of course.
MW healing is supreme bad cause most of our healing must be done tru channeling. Resto druid pops hots, occasional regrowth. We are gucci if we play pillar super good, but that is not the case in solo suffle because people over extend and you are forced into open to heal. So basicly monk needs to endure double the CC that other healers do.
Kudos for trying tho. Havent seen a single MW in opposing team the whole season.
Lost just recently 400 rating on one day. I have a feeling why you see so few MW. It’s ridiculous how superior Druids are. Man, even playing with my Holypaladin feels better and that means a lot.
Obscenely frustrating to play. Tried my best to enjoy, but I end up wanting to stick a fist through my monitor.
Same man. Start of season went pretty well but then plummeted below 1k. Almost feels like people now know that if there is MW its easy wins. I get tunneled lot more and if there is 2 ranged kick on other team its so hard to keep anyone alive. Also druids can chill in the middle of everyone cause no casting and people think they are super tanky and hard to kill lol.
Dude, i started season intending to play mistweaver. It was horrible.
Switched to my druid, 100 x easier. You have better heals, better instas, better defence better cc and better mobility.
In this season insta casting for healers reigns supreme. Mw’s just don’t have it. The damage is so high from certain classes a team mate will die in the time it takes to cast a spell.
17 mws over 2500 in SS.
102 druids.
67 prevokers.
55 discos.
46 paladins.
14 holy priests.
28 resto shamans.
So good news, mw’s are 2nd to last worst healers in SS. Fistweaving is probably only worth it in 2v2, it’s too random for 3v3 or rbgs or anything else really.
Omg man. Its even worse than I tought. Also in lower brackets people prolly play more the fotm classes.
Managed to grab 4/6 wins today and was exhausted after that match. Was against resto druid ofc. What i noticed was the if I keep at max distance all the time and dont try to CC opposing healer my winrate is much better. Going in as monk kinda messes up your healing, or atleast you need to be sure you dont need to channel when going in.
still remember how redicolus mistweaver monk was in Mop u besicly needed 4 peoples to kill a monk… chanel mist was so strong heal now it is a joke …
Meme’d my way to 2400 as fistweaver in SS. Annoyed every second game that Ancient Teachings doesn’t smart heal and that Faeline doesn’t have a second charge for flexibility.
