Faction Change and Boralus/King's rest

Hi,

I have been considering a faction change for one of my characters. I understand it as earlier, the Siege of Boralus/King’s rest would unlock account-wide only for faction-specific toons.
Now, when i checked into the information sheet regarding faction changes, they state that:
" Siege of Boralus and Kings’ Rest are unlocked for all characters on the account and will transfer when a faction change is complete"

As i interpret this, Siege of Boralus would indeed be transfered for King’s rest when i faction change.
Also, among the faction change effects described, they have been very specific when an effect is faction-locked. An example here is the following:
" If you unlock Warfronts they are unlocked for all characters on the faction of the character that unlocked them and will not transfer when a faction change is complete"

What is the correct interpretation of the first point here?

Thanks-

Had a friend who did the switch and can confirm that you will retain the ability of entering the dungeons.

However, you will lose the entire progress in the quest line that normally leads to them and war campaign and have to do all areas all over again before going through the story line.

That’s all.

So by redoing areas, you mean completing every one of the three questing zones?

Correct. And the small questlines in the enemy territory for war campaign.

Ok thanks for the info.

I leveled a toon on alliance in the first place, which i faction changed to Horde to play with friends. If i change another toon back to alliance, would the “progress” made by the first character be account-wide?
