Faction don't make sence anymore

I don’t really care about the faction leaders, they mostly were always just in the background and tbh that’s where I’d prefer they go back too.

A lot of the characters arcs have been needlessly stretched out and dirtied due to a necessity for nostalgia as a driving factor of the story

There is a definite middle ground between no faction barrier at all, ie orcs being able to freely roam in SW streets and not being able to play with friends that moved on the other side.

BoD showed they can make merc mode for Mythic raiding, so they could just go ahead and enable such feature.

How dare you. High elves are those who had the will power to not sucump to their thirst or hunger so they decided to meditate or disenchant magical items which’s what makes them interesting. And those high elves are Alliance.

We definitely should get a faction merge and eventually a brand new all-race secondary faction is maintain the two-faction gameplay.

I think a simple PVE merge is needed. That way factions are still relevant in PVP, and PVE is active for both sides. Story wise, the horde and alliance fight together in PVE anyway.

Yet, blizzard gave Void elves natural skin to make the High elf fans happy. Let me see all those petty forumers who said it will never happen “not in a Billion years”.
“If you want a fair skin elf, the horde is waiting for you”

where are they now?

That’d be weird tho
Why would a human work with an orc?
A night elf with a forsaken?
A gnome with a goblin?
Storywise and mechanics wise keep the split, but add crossfaction functionality for PuGs. Most Premade groups wouldn’t need a change like this anyway because they already have their group setups

Working on 9.2

Why would a Lightforged work with a Void elf?

Why would a Night elf work with a Void elf?

Why would a Pandaren work with a Zandalari?

If they can make it work, I’m sure the factions can. :woman_shrugging:

Yeah, why would a couple Humans want to help an Orc and even heal a Tauren in the Maw? :stuck_out_tongue:

Thrall: ouchy this hurts

Anduin; let me tend those wounds

Thrall: thank you Anduin

Thrall: oh my, where is Tyrande? I hope she is ok?

It’s like Tyrande is the only one stuck with the whole faction rage

At this point I could go for a faction merge just so they’d put to bed their awful “story telling” about how and why we constantly war each other for the first half and then have to work together for the second half and then suddenly we’re at war again.

Plus I kinda wanna play a gnome again

Yeah void elves were a really weird addition that felt like it came out of nowhere, it should’ve been Broken and Lightforged draenei for alliance from Argus and then high elf as a BFA unlockable allied race.

To answer the actual questions; because there’s no real blood history between the faction of Void elves and the other mentioned ones. Its a weak arguement but the fact that they’re exiled from Quel’thalas could mean it’s a pretty big brain move to take them in.

Player pandaran aren’t Pandaria pandaran

I don’t know and it’s one of the reasons I’m not excited too excited about slands lore
I’m not a big fan of what they’ve done to the faction leaders, I liked them more when they were in the background.
