I have a maximum of every class on Horde. I switched to horde just before Burning Crusade expac and have played it ever since. Recently, I moved one warlock to Alliance side for a change of scenery.
Wow. I’ve played with Warmode on since the expansion prepatch Horde side, but this is the first time I’ve actually contemplated turning it off. The Imbalance is so bad, for Allaince players, it’s unplayable, at certain times of the day. Morning especially and especially since flight has been activated for players. It isn’t safe to land now lol.
I’ve decided to stick to my horde characters, simply because I can, at least quest without being ganked by 4-5 players every time i land in Mechagon Or Nazjatar.
But I thought i’d leave this here as a record of my experience. I’m unsure how this can be resolved as it seems Horde players, just like PVP more, whilst Alliance prefer roleplay and feeling like the hero?
Anyway, it’s a shame, because I really like what Blizz has tried to do with Warmode and trying to bring a taste of vanilla warcraft world PVP back. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work, (unless you’re Horde and like ganging up on the odd Alliance dotted about for kicks) and so, it’ll probably be removed next expansion and the requirement for PVP talents in the world, removed. Shame
Shard balance and player distribution in zone is variable from shard to shard, keeps it interesting imo. I’d rather be outnumbered than have no enemies around, but then I can stealth hehe.
Solo player will always be at a disadvantage, this is expected in WPvP.
I hope not, I love it! I’m thinking they won’t remove WM next exp. From blizz perspective it’s probably working just fine. More features are welcome tho.
But ye, Horde are the PvP faction. Strange that they care so much about WM PvE bonus tho hehe.
You’re one of the lucky ones then. You’re welcome to transfer to whatever shard EU-Kazzak is, if you want alliance in WPvP, just be warned that you’re gonna need to switch your WPvP off if you want to visit Mechagon. Alliance are ganking even inside the town, and pathetic guards can’t even kill a single one with their @#$% damage.
The few wq’s in Mechagon doesn’t really give you more when running WM on (as opposed to Nazjatar), so most alliance go there with WM on, pick up the 150 prototypes quest and fly around picking up chests until they are done with it, then turn WM off to do the rest of the quests. A start would be to put up a few wq’s there that incentivizes having WM on (through the WM bonus).
I have played alliance since the start of the expac and the inbalance between WM horde and alliance has always been bad, once flying came into the game it increased more towards the horde side, but when classic was launched it has gotten 10x worse. It seems alliance have had enough of being farmed by horde and have migrated to classic for some playable gaming. WM has been the single biggest mistake on this expac, I admit I was excited to experience it when I saw the incoming changes pre-expac but now am considering quitting the game totally its gotten that bad that there is no point playing. You need reps to get certain recipes for crafting/cooking but when you enter the zones you are jumped on by 5 to 10 horde, they never come one on one always in a group even flying isn’t a safe option as every horde has a bag full of the net launchers, I end up asking myself what is the point of playing if I can’t get anything done, I could turn off my WM but then I am missing out on a large portion of content, all we are asking is a bit of balance on the sharding so it becomes playable, as for the comment about alliance out numbering horde I say you are a lucky person because that is a 1 in a 100 chance
This reset and the other has been horrible, every supply cache is impossible only found my self massivly outnumbered on all shards. I’m opting out of playing at this point, can’t even conquest cap anymore. Still just at 50/500 for this reset (ring or boots) catching up from last reset… Only things I can sometimes snatch up are bounties because there are just so many of them.
You’re lying. Plain and simple. You’re f-ing lying. I was unable to loot a supply cash on my horde for a freakin’ months. Because for every drop there’s f-ing alliance raid turns up.
