Subscribed to the game and now i cannot play character and faction i want to play because entire FACTION IS LOCKED. ARE YOU PEOPLE STUPID?

It’s for faction balance, so the server does not become99% horde.

Actually yes, why not open 2 pvp servers and THEN perform faction lock when needed so that you dont have only one server option with entire faction unavailable , if you want world pvp.
How would this help? For every Horde player you need an Alliance player. There won’t magically pop up more of these by opening a second server. You could of course make 3-500 horde characters (or whatever the leeway is) on the new server … then what? You’d be with no one to PvP, almost no one to group up with and coming here asking for Character transfer or merge … which would not be a possibility exactly because of maintaining the balance.

There is no IF.
Only reason why people want a PvP server is to harass others in the world to inconvenience and ruin the day of the most amount of people.

There’s been so many classic versions already and they’ve already tried your “Just open more servers” strategy before.
It does not work, People still try to flock to the already full server..
Because surprise surprise.. People don’t like a low pop server (which a new opened server always turns out to be.. shocker i know) and then when the hype dies down, 60% of the people leave.. the new opened server is completely dead and abandoned..

Try Alliance - we have the same classes now. It’s just as good - unless ofc you are the flavour of the month-type

What exactly would it help to create 2 PVP servers? It would just be like every other version of wow, where servers becomes a 99.9% faction, making the label “pvp” useless in the first place.
With that mindset, you should just go Thunder strike.

I just made a horde character on Spineshatter less than 40 minutes ago, checked here and there the last 4 days, wasnt a big hassle. stop whining and start camping.
