Faction mob tagging

…is this yet another one of those things that is extremely Horde biased or does this only affect warlocks?

Seriously. I play warmode since day 1. I clear every single WQ on the map every single day and I can say with certainty that this situation is always like this

I manage to kill ALL horde that are engaged with a quest mob or rare and the mob…just…doesn’t… tag…over…for… the Alliance. Only in 5% of cases, AT BEST.

I am engaged with a mob or rare and get killed by 5 Horde, as usual. The mob INSTANTLY tags over to them.

Why is this?

Please tell me I’m not the only one. It’s crazy. And I really don’t say this lightly. The amount of mobs and especially rare kills I’ve lost to this nonsense is unreal.

It feels especially like a spit in your face if you manage to obliterate 2 or more that are fighting with a rare, in this case as to what happened just now: Rustfeather, and the mob just not tagging over. There are NO HORDE in a mile radius. They rez a good 15 sec after and just continue, we nuke them again, but the mob never tags over.

How is this good gameplay? You outplay the enemy, you manage to kill them, yet the only instance where a mob tags over is when you get killed?

This is so freaking frustrating.

Oh and yeah, this sounds like a conspiracy. I’m sure some of you Horde players also might experience this, but since I’ve done so much open world content, more than most other players, I really think there is a big problem most don’t even notice.

Either way, this needs to be fixed. I really don’t know why this is so onesided. Only other option might be some warlock related bug, since I only ever really play this character, who knows.

But all things considered with how war mode has been so far, it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest… They really did one thing right: Piss everyone off with the opposite faction.

I dunno, I attack the Horde, then just leave the mob to reset

Problem is it’s very difficult to reset the mob if others also engage or if the mob cannot be pulled far away enough before it dies to dots.

I always try but yeah. It still doesnt explain why the tagging seems so busted.

Okay, I’ll rephrase - I attack Horde, hope to win, if I do, abandon mob and hope they reset before Horde res. That’s my plan!
