Just re-subbed to play with friends on discovery servers. Unable to create character on server due to faction imbalance controls. Is this something that may subside soon or should I refund?
Generally faction balance blocks will lift when the opposing faction fills up, with Phase 2 coming this Feb 8 it can happen sooner then later.
You’re free to refund though if you don’t want to wait it out. The realm in question may also get locked for new players if it fills up too much.

Depends.
I was unable to make a character on Lone Wolf because of faction balance and kept trying once every half hour and it worked in about 2hrs.

am i missing something completely? Season of discovery Lone wolf EU has almost the same amount of active players yet i cannot make a horde character because of server population imbalance???
20814 49.9% alliance
20861 50.1% horde
and alliance has 53% characters created.
