Faction war expansion and bad open world pvp rewards!

Battle for Azeroth was advertised as faction war expansion, with warmode system and lots of faction war story. But when you go to open world and put warmode on, you don’t really get any pvp rewards.
Yes you can open dropped chest, but they give low itlvl loot and some Conquest points.
Yes you can kill players for honor but honor is no longer currency.
In Legion we had pvp world quest, and why we don’t have it in faction war expansion? Why it is only 1 quest per patch rewarding players with marks of honor in open world pvp?

Like I say it is low level. I prefer more pvp rewards.

Surely Blizzard would’ve adressed the numerous issues regarding PvP if this expansion was really about a faction war…

Yea would be nice, it’s same 425 from randoms bgs quite pointless.

Conquest is your biggest reward for wpvp tho, and you get it with the 8.1 assaults and the chests. You also get the bounty quests every week which give you honor, conquest and gear upgrade tokens (needed 40 to upgrade to heroic quality gear in 8.2 afaik)

More than good enough tho, if you stick to it for a few months you end up with heroic raid quality loot every week.

Months?! I go M+ then, I will do it in few weeks or mabe in one.

World PvP is casual af and does not deserve heroic quality loot, so it’s already more than enough to get normal / heroic quality loot.

Any more challenging content will allow you to gear faster, and that’s normal. But War mode do not deserve more than the current conquest rewards and titles

relax with pvp rewards. even emissary gives 445 while conquest cap 440 :D:D

PvP has really flopped this expansion.
Like really flopped, I cannot think of a time where it has been in a worse situation (although classic currently has me wondering).

I urge the creators to reconsider and get to creating, there is so much potential here for great PvP content and it had completely failed to deliver in any meaningful aspect (korraks was good for first week).
It needs some serious TLC and they need to get some people onboard who really appreciate it, have creativity and are not afraid to experiment with frequent changes, this expansion has been the reverse, it feels like they have turned their back on it and moved away with fingers in ears.

PvP balance in casual gameplay needs to be addressed, they need to reinstate pvp content that has been removed and also bring back the ability for players to decide on what exactly they want to do(black list for example).

Imagine raids with player controlled bosses, crazy stuff like this are things that existed vaguely in old bgs like Korraks, there was so much love and direction for alternative routes of pvp here, it also exists in other aspects too in and outside. Why was Ashran removed in its original glory and replaced with this? Tol barad? If there was actually worthwhile rewards then participation would match. The current reward system is crap and im being kind there.
Warmode is okay, nazjatar, mechagon, uldum, valley also good but the majority of the playerbase is gated from a genuine pvp experience because of gear. We don’t need lopsided fights at max level, give everybody a decent chance and let skill be the determining factor with high level mythic gear and whatnot having just a small contributing factor…
