Factions used to be an interesting thing in WOW

But nothing lasts forever. Dwarves for the horde!

Dwarfs for the red Alliance you mean nothing is left of the Horde anymore.

A small reminder that warcraft 3 plot cemented that horde and alliance are not so different to each other and both factions fought demons and undead back to back in the end.
Then came wow and forced faction conflict for pvp sake

They are big strong dwarfs tho.

I’m not really excited for more dwarves and it’s not like we don’t play cross faction.

Factions have been one of wows worst design decisions. Needlessly splitting the playerbase in two, screwing over friends who wanted to play a particular race.

While also screwing over the story with that cannot move forward since the neither faction can truly change since doing so, again would mess with the player populations.

A small reminder than within the spawn of 10 years, one faction dropped a nuke on Theramore and burned down Teldrassil. Two large scale genocides.
As is being demonstrated right now by real life events, people do tend to hold grudges and struggle to make peace. Especially after genocides.

The Alliance & Horde “overcoming their differences” after everything that happened between them is the most unrealistic thing I’ve ever seen.

Well you know that’s why warcraft is a fantasy setting, there are actual people who understand cycles of hatred.
You on the other hand would gladly press launch nukes on the assumption that someone launched nuke on you.

There are also nations that stopped actively warring against each other, war is tiresome you know.

Yeah but we are not playing WC3 we are playing WoW.

Not me. I don’t invite Alliance.

We are not playing battle for azeroth, we are playing dragonflight.

didnt see u complaining when you got a population boost of +200% when tbc elves joined horde… sorry not sorry. red alliance indeed. now you even complain as much
