Fade Mass Dispel

Has anyone noticed that they changed the Fade Mass Dispel on Unstable Affliction dots? I’m 100% sure up until a couple weeks ago you could use Fade (with Greater Fade ofc) and Massdispel without getting hit by the dispel damage, no matter how many targets you dispelled.

Now however, if you Fade Mass Dispel anyone else than yourself you get hit by the damage and the silence through Greater Fade.

I didn’t read anything in the Patchnotes and idk wether this is intended or not

They nerfed it, now when you can’t use MD into fade because it cancel fade and you take dmg from Ua.

It still works on the Priest himself though, so it doesn’t seem to actually break Fade. You only take damage if you do it on a teammate.

I tried it myself outside of arena and it cancel Gfade instantly.

I’ll try to duel an aff to see if I take dmg, but tbh it was good to use it to dispell my team.

True I just tried it and when the cast finishes it cancels Fade. However you can still MD the dots from yourself without getting damage and silence. It just doesn’t work on other people anymore.

It seems to work in a weird way since the MD cast breaks fade but you still fade the dmg and silence on yourself only…

Tbh I wonder if it’s intended or another bug.
Cause fade cancel when you do a hostile action, but if you MD your mate without touching the enemy team or a pet etc… There is nothing hostile so it shouldn’t cancel.

Isn’t it because Fade cancels if you use offensive ability and if you MD enemy player then the MD might have been offensive ability?
Try dispeling UA from yourself and your teammates with Fade while not hitting any enemy with MD.

I’m curious.
But this is the only thing that’d make sense to me.

I don’t play priest, but if I think about it. When you MD your mate which is in combat with a player, maybe it counts as a hostile action?

Idk but next time I q 2s and face aff I’m gonna try it just to be sure.
