They are? But even if so, it’s quite likely Faerin was created with that diversity character creation tool of theirs as it would no doubt get a high score with how many boxes that are ticked. So the writers may be gone but the character still exists, and I find it hard to believe it’s one they’ll throw away after tacking the Lothar name on.

The DEI stuff is also sinking, if you haven’t noticed. It did no one any favors, just annoyed the hell out of fanbases and killed a few beloved franchises, or if not killed, mortally wounded them. So I’m not to worried about it.

I don’t really care much one way or the other, so I don’t pay attention to it really. But as far as Faerin goes I feel confident the character is here to stay due to the aforementioned last name.
My only beef is that ridiculous sword-style lance someone pointed out, the shield I can accept.

Sword would make even less sense since she’s got no arm to control that shield cause they really had to give her a really obvious disability that could be seen from afar. Couldn’t they just settle for blinding her in one eye?
