Fallen Charger Spawn Timers too Long

Maybe in the future when Korthia is not so new, but right now its the latest content and everyone is there. Its getting harder to even tag mobs with so many players there. This is shaping out to be one of the worst zones and patches in WOW history, as its a tiny zone with tiny quest areas, where you have to fight to get anything done. Its just bad game design as they know that people will want to do what is there in the zone, but really cant due to how the zone was given to us.

It’s not about hard to get. It’s about how much time you wasted literally sitting there up to 10h for a low chance. Which mmo has that system? It’s not fun. The content you need/like to do shouldn’t look like this. I’m a completionist, and I’m thinking about to quit. I’m losing my motivation. Almost half of the BfA, and SL mounts are about: waiting for a low chance. Also people are trolling making groups (fallen up etc.), nuking boss, and as a bonus, you get dazed while you try to get there quickly. Ofc. there can be mounts gained in this way, but not 30 of them. I miss Argent Tournament, warfronts with low time spawn, or class hall mounts. I have TLPD, it’s not a big deal, I found 3 of them, and I like looking for them, but Fallen Crusader is much worse for me. They should reduce spawn time, or increase drop chance. They think they know how to keep us playing, but sorry “You think you do, but you don’t”.

I mean i am not really bothered by fake “fallen up” that delist after 1 sec, is just curiosity to see how many people apply and it does not affect me at all.

But for example yesterday I got invited, so got kicked out from all the others queue, the lead pin the location and when the group get there, the lead is waiting us on the mount. Basically making fun and wasting time of 39 people.

I don’t get what’s so fun tu act like that, making fun of the group that person prolly used to get them mount first.

such a horrendous farm, either drop rate needs a massive increase, the respawn needs to be lowered significantly, or keep the drop rate but have it on a set spawn time (at at 00:00 and 12:00 each day). Would prevent people from jumping across realms to get the kill if everyone was killing it at the same time and keep the rarity, but eliminate the need to wait around 10+ hours

You have clearly done very few mount farms. Every expansion has its share of difficult/rare/grindy mounts. Fallen Charger is the easiest one of these, if you even can to add it to the list of “hard mounts”.

The fact that you can kill it multiple times a day on the same character is the best thing about it. No placing all your charcters in one zone, no missing attempts for that day bcs you forgot a character, no leveling of new characters to get additional attempts. You used to be able to farm as much as you wanted (Houlon for example) using one character and could speed your progress that way. Then Blizzard countered that by daylie lockouts: players countered that by leveling armadas of characters. Blizzard countered that by locking mounts to covenants + renown. I really welcomed seeing the old style of farming back.
I have an account that is close to characterlimit, bcs of stupid lockouts and arbitrary gates. Let me grind my face of if i want to.

Fallen Charger has bad spawn times, but a comparably good droprate, fixxed routes it takes and most importantly its farmable. Every expansion has had bad mountfarms:
Cata: 3 extremely rare mounts like TLPD
MOP: Worldbossmounts with a weekly lockout and 1/2000 dropchances
WOD: Voidtalon, Poundfist, Rukhmar, Tanaan jungle rares
Legion: A ton of raiddrops, which even recently were buffed (Green Hellfire Core) and 2m Gold spider

BFA takes the cake. It was the worst time to farm mounts:
Island expeditions in their inital form took players 19000 attempts to get all mounts.
Great sea ray being nerfed from 1/100 to 1/10000 (i personally took 17500 casts).
Rustfeather and Arachnoid: long respawn, daylie lockout, bad dropchances (to this day there is people with 1500+ attempts that dont have these mounts).
A gigantic attempt to drain gold from the game, buying all bfa mounts from vendors would set you back around 8.5m gold.

And to top it all of SOUNDLESS: A mount so bad, entire communities and now discord servers have been created to make farming this even possible.
2-8h respawn, random spawn locations, tamable, required flying and an abysmal droprate (most people getting it at around 200 and some people pushing 800 attempts).

Fallen Charger pales in comparison to any of these mounts. You just want it bcs it is the new hot stuff, but if you give it away for free the appeal is gone for many people. The patch is barely a week out and there is discords dedicated to announcing spawns and groups. In a couple weeks it will be much easier to join groups and it wont be as overfarmed and nuked.

Sl has alot of mount issues as well, i cant use like 40% of the mounts i farmed bcs of covenant locks, there is too many mounts in general and many are just arbitrarily gated (covenant, renown, time). But Fallen Charger, through frustrating right now because of high demand, is a very reasonable farm.

I’ve seen him spawn and made a raid group of 40 people. Not sure if everyone got there for the kill, because there was also an Alliance raid killing him. It dropped 3 times for our raid group. Drop rate should be around 10%. It’s pretty good.
