Falling Animation

Simply put, I’d like a sky diving animation added to the game to make for a realistic free falling experience whenever I misclick or forget to active a safe fall mechanism of some variety. It will make the whole experience more immersive, humorous and dynamic as I fall to my untimely demise.

Add in an “ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” sound effect too! Or similar.

can we also get a very loud splat sound effect if we die from said falling?

OK finally people are asking real stuff. Make this happen. Also maybe few different ones depending how you fall. Like stylish skydiving animation if you purposelly jump from ledge, then that “waves legs and arms vigorously” kind of animation when sliping from edge and maybe classic cartoon animation “running over ledge in the air until noticing you are in the air and drop like a stone”.

And lot of different sounds from hitting the ground from splat to thuff depending of the character type and big characters should also leave hole or cracks on the ground.

Also, you should survive deadly fall if you fall on top of someone else or on soft surface.

Whenever i switch from my DH to my warlock i always instantly jump off a cliff and die out of habit hahah :sweat_smile:

Oh yes that happens to me too. Also when first playing other game where every class has a glider and then logging to wow for some daily stuff and splat. :laughing:

When I switch to my Priest from DH I go jumping at will as if I still had wings.
Luckily Priests have Levitate so I can save my life at the last second. :woozy_face:

Sometimes I forget I’m not on my paladin and forget to bubble after a drop.

They could use the animation from the recent battleground as a base.
