You’ll get 250 renown and shouldn’t take you very long. Ignore other players as killing other players doesn’t provide you with anything.
If it’s always 2500 renown per rank, then you’ll need to do 10 match each. If each quest is quick, you should be in and out within 5 minutes. So overall depend on speed, quest, who is around you, you’re looking at roughly 1 hour per renown rank.
No need to waste more time on this dogwater of a NEW & BOLD mode.
RNGesus rarely favours me though, so getting the quest done fast is rare.
Though know what bit actually annoys me the most? The pre-match “lobby”. It’s just so unnecessary. It doesn’t teach you the game, it doesn’t have vendors and being kicked around by barrels is only fun the first 0,5 times. If only we could elect to skip that.
Yeap the developers on this project failed so hard, then even indie developers are probably saying “they’re a AAA studio?”.
They should have added a very simple & basic tutorial for people new to the BR genre. Hell they could have made it something you had to do before joining not skipping it, would have given you 1 renown rank.
But remember, this is new & bold and I imagine they wanted to brave as well, but that’s a whole different kettle of fish!
I find that one fast, but the longest one for me is loot two items. The only things that qualify are the things that go in the final slot. They are classed as an item.
Oh and I forgot to say; thanks for posting this thread. I’d already figured out the WQ → death bit, but I imagine it can be helpful advice to people who hadn’t yet.
I got this three times in a row earlier! Took a while to complete this, so these were 600+ plunder rounds, but I really much prefer the easy ones, like 30 plunder oder 3 spells.
I dont know what they were thinking with this event. Do they really think people will find it fun to play this over and over hundreds of times over the next 6 weeks? You dont even play as your own character, the whole point of WoW is building your own character. I bet 99% of the people playing this only play it to get the FOMO rewards before they are gone forever, not because they enjoy it, and yet Blizzard will percieve this as a success because people are playing it.
The time spent on this event could have been spent on a new raid for season 4. Such a shame…
This one is super easy as they all spawn in the same exact location as it seems the project developers didn’t know how to create randomly spawn chests in different locations.
I mean, isn’t that what the M+ crowd does? The same dungeons over and over but with a slight twist, and even then they know what the twist will be weeks ahead even?
Oh people are definitely mostly doing it for the unlocks, I have no doubt about that. As for the perceived success, it’s quite possible this was just to show high activity numbers. “Look how many people we got playing in march with this mode/event!”. They’re probably well aware it wouldn’t work without the bribes.
