There need to be ways to receive Crests and Valorstones more quickly, especially for alts. Right now you can acquire a maximum of 990 Gilded Crests. A freshly dinged character would have to complete more than 80 timed m+ runs, or almost 200 non-timed m+ runs to max out this one resource. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Even half of that would still be too much for alts.
Also, you should provide Bonus Runed Crests to players whenever they clear content that rewards Gilded Crests. Nobody wants to go back to low level content for the Runed Crests when they are already capable of clearing high level content.
Finally, make Valorstones a Warbound item. There is no reason why players shouldn’t be able to share this resource between their characters. Alts have no way of farming them in a reasonable amount of time, while main characters are often maxed out.
