I have to share this - I’m absolutely thrilled that the developers are making such things possible. This is such a step in the right direction for us transmog freaks. With how Season 4 is playing out, you can get all the Vault & Aberrus & Amirdrassil weapon transmog appearances with barely any playtime. This means no more losing rolls in TWW to other people. Yes. Mythic appearances. Heroic appearances, normal appearances and even LFR appearances.
How? Like this:
S4 introduced Antique Bronze Bullion. The general rule is that only one drops per week randomly, however if you miss a week, the ‘catchup’ mechanism kicks in, and you get more bullions. Source for this: Blizzard and me personally seeing a few people loot 2 Bullions this week off of 1st boss in Aberrus (Kazarra). In that example, killing Kazarra took maybe 10 minutes of time. For two appearances of your choosing. How good is that?
Now, new to the ‘fated’ seasons is also this vendor - https://www.wowhead.com/npc=216236/mirioszin. He sells the ‘appearance’ versions of every single Dragonflight raid weapon that dropped in raids. Each appearance costs only 1 Bullion.
So, here’s my strategy: I’m personally preparing 5 alts for this, and when awakened raids will be out for 5 weeks, each of these chars will be able to loot 5 Bullions in a single run. In my case, this will net me 25 Bullions or in other words, 25 Dragonflight weapon appearances.
