First let me say sorry if this isn’t the correct forum, couldn’t find suggestions forum or something like that.
I was thinking while camping rares for mounts in Shadowlands, why not make it weekly lock but with higher chances?
For example, I camp hopecrusher (1 hour spawn), blanchy for 6 days (1-2 hours), famu at the beginning of a new hour, that’s easily 2-3 hours a day wasted sitting and watching the screen, not to mention Korthia horrible mount rares…
I look at it from the perspective of someone who grew old along side the game, I have much much less time to play, but still love mounts a lot, just make our lives a bit easier, please.
Funny story about that… while I haven’t been camping it, I have been passing from the various spawn points almost on a daily basis. Last December was the 2nd time I ever saw it, and the 2nd time it had already been killed.
I will never get that or Invincible. Or Ashes of Al’ar. Or in general any 1% mount.
First let me say I feel your pain I have been farming Huolon for what feels like years at this point over meny diffrent toons and am still farming it same with Nalak and still no drop. As a mount collecter its so frustrating to farm mounts in wow
But blizz will do what blizz always dose… Nothing as long as you pay your sub for the 1% chance there happy and you can suck orc toes
I don’t know if this is classed as ‘lucky’ or ‘unlucky’ but I ran TK for the Ashes of A’Lar with a friend…
First EVER run it dropped, I lost the 50/50 roll and never seen it drop since !
I strongly dislike gameplay where I just have to sit and watch my screen for hours, waiting for something to spawn. In most cases I dismiss the idea before even doing it, because I know it just annoys me with it feeling like such a waste of precious time. I get grouchy when the rare thing comes by where I know I’ll grit my teeth and bear it, and just sit there feeling stupid.
All in all, yes, please reconsider this ‘gameplay’. Even if it only applies to legacy content, at least I’ll know I can ignore it now and come back to it in a few years’ time.
I understand, 100% lol. Most of the time feeling blessed I don’t have to do it beats the enormously grouchy mood I get from the determination to get something
Why not? Invincible. took me 5 goes… Ashes about 15 years lol… There is zero chance to get world mounts with server shards… on Kilrogg when it was a med server you could catch the Hunter pets with ease… Not seen one spawn in ages now.

Oh wait I dont have a time machine and its locked now its almost… and i could be dumb by saying this I wasnt able to play the remix as I was in hospital… omg thats it
Got Ashes on my first try, but took me 8 years to get Invisible - RNG is a female dog at times, but at least I don’t have to hear that ridiculous Arthas speech in ICC anymore
and never seen it drop since !
