Faster Engineering gathering

Hi all.

For those mechanical mobs that engineers can “skin” do any of the glove enchants work with it for example Shadowlands Gathering which allows faster gathering in shadowlands?

I would assume so. Gathering is gathering, regardless of it is skinning or any other skinning-like gathering of creatures. Engineers can ‘skin’ mechanical mobs, Miners ‘skin’ some Elementals and Basilisks, and Herbalists can ‘skin’ plant-like Elementals.
